This flat was exactly what we expected. Pictures and descriptions were spot on and really in a phenomenal location. There are 2 tube locations near by, Lambeth and Waterloo. Tons of food and bar options near by as well. This was an excellent value.

If this apartment is available, book it! You won't find a better location/deal/host in London.

This was a really nice flat in a really nice location. The accommodations are clean and well provisioned. We used the kitchen a lot and were not lacking for anything. Claudia ensured that we were well taken care of, and and promptly responded to any questions we sent to her. The location of the flat is great, with everything we needed close at hand. I was able to walk to everywhere I needed to be. My only con would be that the shower arrangement is somewhat cramped.

Response from Claudia:
Dear Dave, thank you for your feedback. Regarding the shower arrangement (which came with the flat when I bought it, except for the brand new crystal bath-shower screen), I am happy to say that after some of to and from with the Council –having ascertained the issue stems from communal water pressure– and after consulting my plumber, I decided to have the taps replaced. It should have happened during your stay, but we didn't want to disrupt your plans and tranquillity, so we have already made arrangements for this to happen next time I am around. For the time being, the trick consists in finding the right temperature and just leaving it there, with the water flowing in background. I know it's totally environmentally un-friendly but it's the best thing to do in the current circumstances. Or have a bath instead of a shower ;-) Anyway, I am glad you had an altogether pleasant experience.

Good location, but has issues Pros: - Claudia was very good to work with and was very communicative. Her friend, Bee, was helpful in greeting us and getting us into the building. - This apartment is in a good location with a 5-minute walk to the Waterloo station for Underground and for trains to other parts of England. - The apartment had many toiletries supplied, great wifi and fast internet, and a complete kitchen to include spices. Cons: - It was initially hard to find, and is in an older neighborhood that is sketchy. - There was insufficient heat supplied by the radiators. Although we had them turned full on, we were chilly – and this wasn’t an extraordinarily cold period while we were there. There was no heat in the room with the toilet, which is very uncomfortable. - Our last night there, the neighbor directly above us decided to move furniture around from 2:00am to 4:30am, or at least it sounded like that. A horrible sleepless night. - The hot water for the shower would go cold, then heat up again, but the period of cold water is a shock to the system. Minor: - There was no place for a woman to put makeup on – no space with plenty of light, a mirror, and space to place toiletries. - Although sample size toiletries were available as mentioned above, there was no facial tissues. - There was no bag for the tall kitchen trash can, so we reluctantly threw our trash into the can without any bag. - The second bed was a blow-up mattress. I don’t think this should be listed as a bed without the qualification that it is a blow-up mattress.

Claudia have been an excellent host! Through my experience in Airbnb, you need a host that is always there to support your needs, flexible and welcoming - Claudia exemplifies these qualities despite the fact that we have not met F2F. B who was waiting for us to check-in was also lovely and making sure that everything is ok before she leave us to enjoy the apartment. APARTMENT: As per what the pictures & description showed & said. Everything was working and we couldn't ask for more. There were 2 of us, and we could have our own personal space as Claudia have converted the living room as another bedroom for us. LOCATION: Very quiet neighborhood that is a stone throw away from Waterloo Station & Lower Marsh Market. You also have supermarkets close by if you would need to purchase anything for the apartment. One word to describe the location - CONVENIENCE.
