This is a two room suite with balconies in a Grade 11 listed neo-classical Victorian stucco villa, with stunning views of Liverpool Bay, the River Mersey and beyond from both rooms. The generous bedroom has a contemporary, four poster king-size bed, en-suite toilet and shower, and TV. There is a separate, private lounge for exclusive use by guests with widescreen, smart TV and a kitchen area equipped with fridge, microwave, kettle, table and chairs. Continental breakfast is included.

The space
Great for those attending events in Liverpool and New Brighton or those simply wanting a quiet space with coastal walks and stunning beaches on the door step. We have sublime sunsets and views along the coast as far as Cumbria.

Guest access
From your own front door, you will have access to a private open plan living area and separate, en-suite bedroom. Both rooms have french doors opening out onto a balcony or verandah with views of the mouth of the River Mersey and up the coast towards Cumbria. From the lounge, a spiral staircase descends into the ground floor, separate area occupied by the owners.

Other things to note
The space would suit couples or singles wanting somewhere quiet and peaceful to relax. It would also be suitable for professional people working or attending meetings or conferences in Liverpool, the Wirral or Chester, in preference to hotel or standard B&B accommodation. I'm happy to negotiate a single room supplement and discounted rates for longer stays.

Location

Merseyside, England, United Kingdom

Located on the highest part of New Brighton on the Wirral coast, the house is a Grade 11 listed Victorian neo-classical stucco villa built in 1840 by the owner of the Mersey Ferries. On a clear day, we have views along the coast to Blackpool Tower and as far as the Cumbrian fells. New Brighton, across the River Mersey from Liverpool, has undergone a major redevelopment in recent years and has cafes, bars and restaurants, a bowling alley and cinema, all within easy walking distance. We are five minutes walk from these facilities and from the beach and New Brighton promenade, great for cycling or a gentle stroll. There are great, easy walks from the front door (although there is a short, steep hill to climb up from the coast) and an award winning cycle route around the Wirral coastline. The train station in New Brighton is a five minute walk away. Direct trains to Liverpool are every 15 or 30 minutes, depending on the time of day, and take 25 minutes. Driving into Liverpool takes about 20 minutes and to Chester about 40 minutes.
