Kelly's place is amazing the farm is a fantastic place to be. From a very friendly family, and the animals that you can help but fall in love with. We will sure be back again. The hut is just what you need to relax and enjoy a toasted marshmallow :)

Best place I've stayed in, ever, I think. Very sad to have only two nights there. If you need a place to spend some time reevaluating what's important in life, this one would be it for me - could easily move in for a month. Our arrival already was magical, with a fella greeting us by the main road bareback and with a bitless bridle on a black horse (this was Kelly) who then disappeared galloping up the steep hill - we followed rather more slowly up the long drive through orchards. The cabin is at the top, at a very private distance from the main house, and gets both morning and evening sun. Great for summer cooking on the little gas bbq, has everything you need in utensils etc. Very spacious bathroom like you'd find in a house normally, not in a small cabin like this!

If you want somewhere a little bit different, but with everything you need for a good night, then this is the place. Cute little hut, comes with BBQ and fridge, great shower and friendly hosts who were keen for us to wander around the farmland and orchard. A fan would have made it perfect for us but we did pick one of the hottest nights to stay there!

Everything about this experience was lovely. I was very welcomed and so happy here. I would happily live there forever. The views were stunning and a more peaceful experience could not have been possible. Out the way of the house and everything else. Thank you so much for all your advise and help in every way. Defiantly stay here if you can even if you don't need to be in the area. X

Our favourite Airbnb ever!! Kelly was a great host, he welcomed us and showed us round and made us feel at home. The views are out of this world and if you like farm animals this is the perfect place for you. One day we had horses in the field behind, the next day cows and the next day sheep. The ducks and chickens love hanging around by the tea house too. Watch out for the goat when approaching the property. So close to Ohope, we were so glad we chase to stay here rather than Rotorua. The kumara chips at Ohope general store are worth sampling, take them to the beach for sunset. Top tip: don't leave any food out as the ants will attack!

Like a previous guest has already mentioned, this is one of those places you would only find on somewhere like Air BnB. If you want to stay somewhere to get away from it all, surrounded by farmland, peace and quiet then this is it! We spent 2 nights in this cosy cabin which is exactly as advertised. The double bed was comfortable, lovely hot shower. There is wifi in the cabin but this will depend on your device - we had no problems with a new laptop, but were unable to get a signal with the iphones - not a problem at all, as there is a bench under the enormous tree near the main house where we could sit and use our phones there (whilst taking in the views). There is a little gas cooker on the porch on which we could a simple meal and a firepit for cooking sausages and marshmallows. The fridge was small but very effective. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch each evening with a glass of wine by the fire, accompanied by Sadhu the dog :) Kelly and Sadhu were friendly and very helpful. We were pleased that we chose to stay here, rather than a non descript motel in the nearby town. Would highly recommend and would love to return again one day.

Lovely and interesting location. Made very welcome including by the dog and chickens. Great to watch the sheep cross the veranda to get into the next field.
