Our lovely Victorian hamstone house is conveniently placed for visiting many local attractions. These include four National Trust properties, Haynes Motor Museum and Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum as well as the glorious Somerset countryside.

The space
You will be staying in a ground floor bedroom with double bed and en suite wet-room which is in a separate part of the house, originally a yard and wash house.
These have been converted and now the yard is our dining room where tea and coffee making facilities will be available. There is access to both the bedroom and our large conservatory where you are welcome to watch TV.

Guest access
For your stay we will close off the dining room from the rest of the house so that you will have exclusive use of it.
You will have your own access through the conservatory.
We are happy for you to use the conservatory as well as our large garden.

During your stay
We enjoy hosting and want to make your stay a comfortable and relaxing one. So if there's anything you need just ask.
There are tea and coffee making facilities in the dining room.
We will provide a complimentary continental breakfast consisting of a choice of cereals, rolls/toast and jams.
Any non alcoholic drinks that you would like during your stay will also be free of charge.

Other things to note
There is plenty of parking in the quiet lane outside our house.

Neighbourhood highlights

Percombe is a small hamlet situated on the old Fosse Way which was a Roman road.
Our house backs onto Duchy of Cornwall land which has been farmed by the same family for 5 generations.
At the bottom of our garden is a gate which gives access to surrounding fields and public footpaths which lead between cider apple orchards and blackcurrant fields to the village which has a pub, The Fleur de Lis, serving good pub food.
Above the village stands Ham Hill, with it's large war memorial, which has provided the local area with ham stone for its houses for centuries. There is also an excellent pub, The Prince of Wales, on Ham Hill.

What makes my home unique: The beautiful hamstone it is made from.
We moved to this beautiful part of Somerset 8 years ago. Roy is a classic car enthusiast and has now finished his latest project, renovating a 1958 MG Magnette. His pride and joy is our 1973 Bay Window VW camper which took 4 years to restore and which we regularly use to explore the country. We are both quite musical. Roy plays guitar and ukulele and I play classical guitar and am learning the melodeon. We are looking forward to meeting you.
