Jon's place is super cute and super comfy, Jon is a superhost, so friendly, helpful and so thoughtful, he had a womens care package, with soap, travel accessories, soaps, comb, razor, u name it,and good quality too, he had fruits and candy, as well as fresh towels set aside, he had fresh coffee for me every morning, and was super super nice to my pet. Jon is a very good soul and an awesome human being. We watched Tv together as well, he gives you your space and is there when u need company. I stayed in the hide away bed space which had a very comfy pull out bed, his yard is spacious and my pet would run around there, one time i forgot my phone at a nearby restaurant i went to with friends, he was so kind, and drove me to get it. You wont find a better place and you wont find a better host!! Thank you Jon for everything, you're an awesome host and even awesome human being

Jon is a fantastic host! He knows a lot about the area and he even offered me a ride from the Airport to his home. The house is located in a nice, safe and quite neighborhood and believe it or not, I spotted a Deer in his backyard, which is very exotic for a person coming from Texas. The living space is very spacious and comfortable, clean bathroom, access to washer/dryer, access to kitchen, strong Wi-Fi and you can also watch cable on the TV. There are plenty of restaurants within a 2-3 mile radius and the house is only a couple of miles away from the Interstate. I had a real good time in Maple Grove at Jon's place. P.S. If you are really lucky, you might get a chance to see a bald eagle, whose nest is less than a mile away from Jon's place.

Absolutely fantastic! Jon is by far the best Airbnb host I've ever met! He is courteous and helpful beyond belief and makes a mean BBQ dinner to boot! If you're staying in or near the Twin Cities, this is definitely the listing you want!

Jon was a very welcoming host. Everything was clean and he was kind enough to leave fruit and toiletries for us. Jon was very punctual in responding to questions and such. Also, his dog is very sweet! The house is outside Minneapolis but in a nice area and very easy to drive downtown.

I stayed with Jon in his house for six nights while waiting for my apartment to open up. It was an absolutely fantastic experience. Upon arrival Jon offered me a handy welcome basket with some toiletries, bandaids, and towels. Immediately after that he offered me an ice cold beer from his fridge. :) Accommodations: The lower level (basement) houses the hide-a-bed and spare room. Jon's basement is not an afterthought at all, it is a MANCAVE. There is a pool table, darts, bar (Jon even offered me droughts from his Kegerator!) I stayed on the hide-a-bed for my six nights, and it was about as comfortable as a pull-out bed can be. Much more comfortable than a motel rollaway, for sure (no annoying metal bar sticking into your back). The bathroom was clean and private, with a good working shower. The private room is indeed private, with space to get work done if you need to. Jon offered me full access to his kitchen and outdoor gas grill. The place, honestly, has everything you'd need. The Host: Jon was great. On my first couple nights, I was still getting acquainted with the city. He offered his knowledge in getting around and where to go in the area to get the stuff I needed. He also had city welcome books/brochures if I needed them. Besides all that stuff, Jon was just a fun dude. Over my 6 days, we grilled some steaks, drank some beer, watched some baseball, and generally had a good time. But some days, when I was coming home from my new job, I was totally beat and ready to climb into bed, read a book, and relax. I felt totally comfortable doing my own thing, and being somewhat reclusive; whichever personality suits you better, Jon is pretty good at accommodating. Ice, his old puppy was nothing but friendly. The Location: If you aren't from Minneapolis, and you don't want to spend a lot of time heading into the city, the area around this location is fantastic. There is an outdoor shopping mall and "main street" with tons of restaurants and shopping, as well as a nice new movie theater. Honestly, tons of stores are within a 5 min drive. Overall: This was my first AirBnB experience, and Jon set the bar high. We had a good (almost) week, and Jon's house is very nice. The location is good with plenty of stores, and Jon is more than happy to accommodate any type of traveler. I'd recommend this as a place to stay for anyone passing through town!
