Joan was very nice and accommodating since we had forgotten to tell her that we are gluten and milk intolerant.

Joan & Pat made us all feel most welcome. Welcoming us with tea and cake at opportune times! Breakfast was very good, setting us up for the day ahead. Joan was most accommodating as my son as gluten intolerance and I am a vegetarian. She had bought special bread for him. Nothing was too much bother and despite being strictly 5* hotel people, we will definitely return to Palmgrove. Felt more like guests than customers!

As soon as we arrived, Ms. Joan offered us tea/coffee/a beverage with a cupcakes! What a wonderful way to be received. She showed us our room and handed us the keys. She made us feel so welcome. Her and her husband are truly welcoming people. They gave us great advice when going to the Cliffs of Moher (such as catching the ferry in the next town over) and going to Ballybunion to watch the sunset. They spoke to us everyday wanting to know how our adventures of that day had turned out. Breakfast was delightful and filling. I didn't feel like stranger in their home. Even their little dog Spot was a hit! For a great, pleasant stay with great, pleasant people stay here. If I go to Ireland again, I will go back to Palmgrove House. Nothing but great memories from this stay.
