All about Bethany’s place

Three bedroom old Victorian schoolhouse with beautiful large bright rooms and wood burning stove. Next to the seafront with safe, stony beach that is perfect for chilling or swimming. Whitstable harbour is only a short walk along the seafront or there is an easy bus ride into Canterbury with a stop at the end of the road. Whitstable is a beautiful town with lots of independent shops, fantastic for art and creativity, I am a potter myself and you can have lessons in my studio for an extra cost.

The space
A large bright bedroom with a bathroom across the hallway, only renovated recently. Kettle for tea and coffee. Hopefully a home from home

Where you’ll be

Kent, England, United Kingdom

Whitstable is lovely historic town, famous for it oysters, sunsets, artisan shops, and stony beaches. There are plenty of local independent shops, restaurants and cafes to find things to buy, eat, drink and enjoy

The schoolhouse was built on the grounds of Whitstable castle, which has beautiful gardens and a lovely tea room where they do the best cakes.

10 min walk is the harbour, still a working harbour so a great place to pick up fresh fish and seafood. Also has the harbour village, a perfect place to do some shopping and pick up a locally made souvenir as all huts sell products Made in Kent (only open weekends except holidays) .
