The space
The Lodge has been described by previous visitors as clean, comfortable, cosy, beautifully appointed, relaxing and very good value for money.

The Lodge is perfectly placed in the northern Lake District to explore the whole region by car, not far from towns Penrith, Carlisle and Keswick nestling on the fringe of Greystoke Forest. Ullswater, Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake are within easy reach as are many delightful climbs - Catbells, Blencathra and Latrigg to name just a few. Castlerigg Stone Circle, just outside Keswick, is perhaps the most atmospheric and dramatically sited of all British stone circles.

The Lodge is our private holiday home and is comfortably furnished and equipped to a high standard. There are 2 twin bedrooms sleeping 4 people comfortably, fitted kitchen with integrated appliances, open plan lounge/dining area with flat screen TV, DVD and Hi-fi. Landline and Free Wifi Internet connection.

The Lodge benefits from a south facing decked balcony equipped with patio table and chairs from which you can relax and enjoy the abundant wildlife.

Guest access
Guest will have access to the whole house, sheltered decking and surrounding garden as well as the whole of Cumbria and the Lake District.

Other things to note
We want you and the wildlife to enjoy yourselves, we therefore ask that you keep your speed to a minimum on the gravel road leading to the lodge.

Neighbourhood highlights

Lots of trees and beautiful views. Whilst very quiet there are other properties around making it very safe. Towns, villages, pubs, restaurants, walks, hills and lakes are accessible within a short drive.
Red Squirrels and pheasants skip and wriggle around as well as lots of other wildlife.
For those wanting to see the stars at night there is no light pollution and it's fantastic on a cloudless night.
