Amazing traditional house with all comforts for relaxing holidays in quite neighbourhood. Fully renovated, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room and a large garden all around the house. Ideal for families or group of friends.
The space
In 2018, my family and I have decided to renovate my grandparents' residence and rent it out for a short-term lease.
The renovation and maintenance of the house has been done with extra care in order to maintain its traditional character.
Interior:
The first bedroom has a comfortable double bed, an armchair that turns into a single bed, a baby crib and a wardrobe. The baby crib and armchair could be moved to any room.
The second bedroom has a large double bed, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a bathroom. The bathroom comes with a shower.
The third bedroom consists of a sofa bed which is converted into a double bed, a single bed and a chest of drawers.
In all bedrooms you will find a mirror and air conditioning.
The living room along with the dining room maximize the beauty of traditional style as they have remained virtually untouched. The only addition made by us to this large space is a plasma TV.
The kitchen has been completely renovated and is fully equipped with everything you may need. You will find a coffee maker for filter coffee, toaster, oven, stovetop, fridge with freezer, dishes, glasses, utensils, forks & knives and more.
In the second big bathroom you will find a bathtub and a washing machine.
The house has also towels, sheets, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, spreader, vacuum cleaner, fire extinguisher, first aid kit.
Exterior:
On the perimeter of the house there is a large and beautiful garden, full of flowers and tall trees (mandarin, orange, olive trees). Also, on the right side of the house there are various fruit and vegetables planted. Finally, in the yard there is a private car park with a cover for a car.
Extra Notes:
The house has solar water heater system, meaning that the water is automatically heated by the sun. On cloudy days there is also a water heater which can warm the water.
There is wi-fi available in all parts of the house.
Also, the water in the kitchen is potable.

How to get Nina’s House from the airport (Chania International Airport "Ioannis Daskalogiannis"):
The ideal scenario is to rent a car from the airport as it is necessary for your entire travel.
Alternative Options:
Bus:
Outside the airport there is a bus to Chania city center. The bus stops at the central stop of the town. The cost of the ticket for this route is approximately € 2.50. At the station you have to take the bus passing through the area of "Kamisiana". The stop you need to get down is called 'Kastalia Village'. The fare for this route is around € 2.80. From there, you have to walk 950m, about 13 minutes to reach the house.
Taxi:
There is always the possibility of taxis, which you will also find outside the airport. The cost of a simple transfer (Airport - Kamisiana) is about 60 € and takes about 35 minutes.
Surrounding Areas:
Tavronitis is a seaside, quiet village, 18 km west of Chania, with a lovely beach, shops, traditional cafes, taverns, supermarkets, banks (atms), pharmacies.
Tavronitis beach is organized with several restaurants, cafes and swimming and sunbathing facilities (sun beds, umbrellas, water sports etc).
Some organized beach bars in the area of Platanias and Agia Marina (6-8 km east) and Kolymbari (5 km west, a pebble and sand beach) are within easy reach.
