Residenza Antica Canonica is ready to welcome you in its prime position in Umbria, next to Città di Castello Cathedral. You will find yourself in a period dwelling, set within a fifteenth century building that once was home to the canons of the cathedral.
Our beautifully restored, spacious, well-furnished apartment is in Residenza Antica Canonica in a quiet cobbled street just a stone's throw from the main square.
The flat has all the quality and comfort of a real home and is ideally located.

The flat is in a narrow cobbled street in the old-town centre of Città di Castello, an authentic, relaxed small Italian town. It is refreshingly off the main tourist trail, but still has plenty to explore, as well as boasting good restaurants and fabulous countryside all around it. Città di Castello is a town with a strong sense of culture, with its refined architecture, its fine municipal art gallery and its beautiful, active 17th-century theatre. There is a steady stream of cultural events throughout the year, such as the Festival delle Nazioni. The town is also a good base for the internationally acclaimed Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia every July. Città di Castello - located near Umbria's border with both Tuscany and Le Marche - is a great place from which to explore central Italy. Some possible day trips include Florence, Siena, Bologna, Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto, Todi, , Urbino etc etc .

Hi I'm Elisa,  for almost 20 years I have welcomed my guests in the Residenza Antica Canonica, in the historic center of my city, Città di Castello.  Receiving, making people who choose my structure feel at home is the thing I love most about my job. Meeting new people, all different, from different parts of the world, is inspiring and makes everyday life new.  When I travel, I don't like to feel "stranger" so I'm committed to welcoming my guests warmly, making sure they feel good, comfortable, as if we've known each other forever.  I believe in the spontaneity of human relationships, the beauty of sharing experiences and cultures;  i love my city, its beauty and simplicity, art and authentic things like family, friends, my horse, and long sunny days.
