I've had compliments about my houses as they're newly refurbished and up to high standards with a fine central heating. My house being small could be possible, depending of the guest's interpretation of size (if you live on a big country side house I can imagine you'd call this small). The kitchen is more than well equipped with all your needs, I'm sure there are a few reviews complementing the kitchen for having utensils.
The bed linen thankfully have been complemented as well and I check everything myself before guests arrive to make sure all is clean and well. Hoover etc all provided and the bin once full you put it outside on the street as it's central London and they collect every day, no outside bin needed! All of this is explained to the guests upon arrival, but as it was holiday season he must've busy partying and not remembering.
Regarding payments and deposits, I don't deal with it as Airbnb has control of everything. Bradley left my house in a terrible state and I was in for a big shock when I came after his check out! No cleaning fee was included in the pricing and I have never charged a cleaning fee. Thats why I select who can stay here to make sure I have responsible people as guests, but I was very wrong with this booking!! And because of this guest I'm thinking of introducing a cleaning fee and changing some of my policies, but I'm not sure as I don't want 1 'rotten apple' to affect all the others.
