Or if the sometimes crowded beach isn't your cup of tea, you could take a dip in one of the two community pools. Plan tomorrow's adventures as you kick back and relax on one of the comfortable sofas in the living room or watch everyone's favorite movie on the TV available. The fully-equipped kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances and modern utensils to whip up tasty meals.

Folly Beach is the perfect place for those who love to be outdoors and try different activities. Sign up for surfing or paddleboard lessons at one of the various rental companies on the island. A short 11.7-mile drive will take you to historic downtown Charleston where you can enjoy shopping and fine dining. If you visit Charleston, make sure to drop by one of the most famous landmarks: The Angel Oak Tree. This is one of Charleston’s most photographed icons on Johns Island. It’s said to be the largest live oak east of the Mississippi. It’s 65 feet high and 300-400 years old.
