Description

The space

This gorgeous studio/apartment is bright and spacious. It once operated as an art gallery before becoming my home. It has a very large artists studio, filled with books and artwork, large bedroom, separate lounge/dining, and small but cute kitchen. The bathroom is basic but sufficient. There's also a small courtyard.
The whole place is available for a single person or couple.

You will have the whole place to yourself. However the courtyard is a shared space; there is an apartment upstairs, and a loft apartment behind, though separate from the building.

Located in a very quite pocket of North Fitzroy, yet just 1 block from vibrant Brunswick Street. Smith Street Collingwood is also only a 10 minute walk away. So lots and lots to explore on foot, an abundance of great cafes, restaurants, bars and galleries. And if you love shopping, you'll find everything you need.
The beautiful Edinburgh Gardens are only a short walk away, popular for picnics on warm days.

The city is only a 10 minute tram ride away. Take the Brunswick Street tram no. #11 or the Nicholson Street tram no. #96
But you can walk just about everywhere!

Please email me or call if you'd like to know more.

Sonia was an absolutely lovely host that went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. I had several issues with flights etc and she was more than happy to accommodate the changes. Furthermore, she knew I had a late flight returning home and did not insist on a check out time which was appreciated. You really can't beat the location. It is metres away from the food hub (Newtown, King St equivalent if you are from Sydney), and t incredibly trendy/close to the city. The place is very spacious, with everything you need. However I do suggest you bring your own pillow, the bed could be a lot better. The drain in the shower flooded very easily, but to be honest this didn't bother me greatly. For the price point, Sonia's is a really great find.

We had a lovely stay at Sonia's studio. So close to Brunswick St and Smith St, only a few minutes walk to each. Apartment has all the essentials for a basic stay.

Had a great stay. The location was great. Walking distance to some great spots. The bed was very comfortable. The house was very tidy. Sonia was waiting for us when we arrived so there was no hanging around. I'd be happy to stay here again next time I'm in Melbourne. Thanks

We enjoyed our two nights at Sonia's studio. Sonia was very easy to communicate with and accommodated the changes we made to our arrival with grace. The studio is very conveniently located- right next to all the great shops in Brunswick Street from where you can take the number 11 tram to the city. Only takes 15 minutes. In the studio - the bed was comfortable, internet easy to access and the water in the shower nice and hot. What more could you want!

The place was clean and Sonia was very friendly and accommodating . I did feel a little cramped, but it was a lovely home nonetheless.

Great location and Sonia was very communicative and helpful. Comfortable bed and a nice light filled room. If you are heavy set or tall, the kitchen and bathroom might be a little tricky to negotiate but everything works. Lots of lounge and general space in the rest of the house though and super close to the tram and Brunswick Street. Check out The Tinpot Cafe a few stops north.
