The space
Enveloped by lush tropical greenery and shaded by a canopy of coconut trees, Le Domaine de Tam Hai rests in sheltered carefree seclusion on a small island less than an hours drive from the coastal ancient city of Hoi An.
The island itself is surrounded by river and sea, blue lagoons and coral reefs, and caters to outdoor adventurers with an appetite for a laidback island experience as well as paradise seekers looking for relaxation.

The simple villas were designed as a home away from-home. A bright, airy space with a separate lounging & dining terrace for entertaining your friends and family.
The resorts lounge and dining areas have been designed to complement the panoramic views, perfect for a sunrise breakfast or sunset seafood supper experience.

*Please note the beach suites are around 50m apart and not suitable for young children alone.

Where you’ll be

Tam Hải, Quang Nam Province, Vietnam

Tam Hai is small - just 6kms long and 4kms wide, with only two roads. The main occupation here is fishing and tourism has yet to have any impact on the island. It's famous for its seafood - lobsters and oysters in particular, its slow pace and welcoming islanders.
There is a small fresh market, many mom and pop street food stalls. On the islands beachside to the south, a beautiful painted village and a black coral cliff (not unlike the UK's Durdle Door).
A short kayak across the river from the resort is a deserted white sand beach that stretches for almost 40kms (almost all the way to Hoi An).

    During your stay

    While I am present most of the time (and always available by phone or by email), I try to stay in the background and let our staff take care of the hosting. Our staff speak fluent Vietnamese (of course) and their English is improving every day. Please be patient with them (and remember google translate is a wonderful tool). Your patience and good humour go a long way in increasing their confidence, and I am always available for those times when your charades game is low.
