An idyllic retreat in the New Forest with ponies outside the gate. Walk or cycle with miles of land to roam over, or go into Burley for pubs and quaint shops. Numerous beaches, Lymington and Christchurch within 25 minutes, Salisbury about 45 minutes, Southampton and Bournemouth 30 minutes drive. Ideally located for Forest walks, Peppa Pig World, Burley fairy festival, Bournemouth air show and much more. EV Charge point & fibre broadband.

The space
This old cottage is full of character, low ceilings, beams and bumpy walls and comfortably furnished with a large sitting room with 2 large sofas and a wood burning stove. There are two bedrooms with super king beds, one with an en suite bathroom, another bedroom with a king size bed and en suite shower room, bedroom 4 has a standard double bedroom and bedroom 5 is a family room with a double bed and bunk beds. We love beautiful bed linen and quality duvets so we've furnished all the rooms with these for added luxury. The top floor bedroom has low ceilings and is accessed via a narrow, slightly steep staircase. With super king bed, en suite bathroom, mini fridge, kettle, tea tray and views over neighbouring paddocks, it's a lovely retreat and not one you'll want to leave in a hurry! There are two baths, one in the top bedroom en suite and another in the main bathroom with a very good shower over the latter as well as a lovely spacious walk-in digital shower in the en suite to bedroom 2. There are two kitchens both containing the usual appliances - fridge/freezer, cooker with double oven, microwave, dishwasher & washer/dryer. One kitchen opens into a dining/sitting area where there are bi-fold doors on two sides opening to the garden and a second wood burning stove. There's also a ground floor cloakroom. Travel cots, high chairs, booster seats, stair gates and a fire guard are available, if required. We have a large dining table to seat 13. Dogs are very welcome but we do ask that they stay downstairs and off the furniture. There is a small, lawned private garden to the front of the cottage and an enclosed rear garden with swing and furnished summerhouse. There are plenty of really good pubs and restaurants nearby. 20 minutes from Peppa Pig World! 7kw type 2 EV ChargePoint & fibre broadband.

The photos of ponies, cattle, gorse and bracken are taken from the Forest immediately across the road, some of the photos are taken from the garden!
Bedrooms 2 & 3 have a view of the Forest where deer are often seen in the morning. Bedrooms 1 & 4 have a view of the horses in our neighbour's paddock immediately behind the cottage. The sitting room & kitchen look out onto the garden.
