Where you’ll be

Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa

Our apartment is in the heart of the City Centre, making it an ideal base to explore Cape Town. We are near some of the trendiest new restaurants in Bree Street and close to Long Street, the Mother City's party street.

The V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain and Lions Head are all a short taxi ride away. The Waterfront has numerous attractions such as the new Zeitz Mocca Contemporary Art Museum, the Two Oceans Aquarium and you can catch a boat ride to Robben Island. Table Mountain is the first landmark you see as you fly into Cape Town. The 360 degree cable car trip is an absolute must. Lions Head is a great hike for novices and the more experienced alike. The views are spectacular.

We are also not far from the historic BoKaap, where you can sample some traditional Cape Malay cuisine and walk through the cobble streets admiring the uniquely colourful houses. The noon gun fired from Signal Hill can be heard every day at noon.

I'm a born and raised Cape Townian. I love my cats, theatre, dance, travelling, trying new restaurants and table top gaming. My travel style is very relaxed, I do not like to plan too much ahead. If I love a place I want to stay a bit longer. So I enjoy the flexibility of planning as I go.
