Guests are welcome to explore our tranquil woodland garden, including a swing and a scenic stream where otters have been spotted. Children must be supervised at all times.

Wi-Fi is provided free via a 4G router. While it isn’t “city standard” due to our rural location, it offers reliable access for browsing, streaming, and working remotely.

We are at the end of a quarter mile long, unmetalled track, right on the edge of Ottery St Mary surrounded by beautiful East Devon countryside.

Exeter is only 10 miles away, and the stunning East Devon (Jurassic) coast with beaches a plenty, is just 6 miles away.

Head to the coast for a beach walk or beach day, plus activities such as kayaking and fossil hunting, plus the famous South West coast path. A choice of bike trails are nearby and a footpath across the surrounding farmland is just outside the gate! A walk along the River Otter, which leads all the way to Budleigh Salterton from Ottery St Mary, is glorious and shouldn't be overlooked, a few miles south takes you to the village of Tipton St John, with a very lovely country pub... Keep a look out for amazing wildlife including otters and even beavers along the riverbanks!
