The space

One of two newly refurbished apartments on the 4th floor of Shed 20, this 106sqm apartment has two king bedrooms (one convertible to twins) and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a huge walk- in wardrobe and the spacious tiled ensuite has both a shower and separate bath.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped and there is a separate laundry.

The apartment is serviced weekly and/or on departure including a complete linen change. No allocated carpark but there is metered parking on the wharf and a public carpark opposite the entrance.

The complex is close to the Auckland Municipal Salt Water Tepid Baths which also has full gym facilities.

Apartment does not come with a carpark but there is metered parking on the wharf and a public AT carpark opposite the entrance. Occasionally we might be able to rent you a covered carpark in the Wharf Complex too.

Other things to note

Princes Wharf is still a working wharf and although the Overseas Cruise Terminal moved to Queens Wharf opposite in October 2013 the occasional liner will still berth outside your window for the day - go to the Ports of Auckland website for the timetable.

Arranged for us to be able to pick up the keys upon arrival after hours. Very easy going. The place is beautiful and well accommodating, many cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. There are plenty of boats coming in and out of the dock. Quite entertaining.

The apartment was in a fantastic location and overall very comfortable, but in need of some upkeep and cleaning. Host was responsive when we pointed out broken toaster, lack of drinking glasses, and no usable frying pans by replacing each the next day. Host was unable to replace missing cutlery, however, which made cooking and eating at home a challenge. Overall the location made the apartment a great place to stay.

Great apartment! We were looking forward to a laid back holiday in Auckland to just relax and the apartment was the perfect place to do so! Spacious and very well located at the Harbour.... amazing views to wake up to and right at the edge of the city centre. Paddy was great and very easy to deal with - we noticed that the second bedroom was not configured to a king bed (and more likely my fault for not specifying it to Paddy during reservation) however a Sunday phone call to her as we checked in and she was quick to organise it for us first thing the next day. Modern, spacious, clean and views are amazing to wake up to! Thank you for the great base for us to explore Auckland - we will definitely be back next time we are in Auckland!

The intercom system is governed by the building managers themselves - it goes through the landline but we have opted to not have a landline and instead have unlimited wifi. We do not advertise that the apartment has intercom system. The noise is mainly from the boats and ferries I am afraid which come with the waterview! Afraid we can do little about this.

Went to Auckland almost every 2 -3 months, used to stay at Sofitel hotel close by but can not get a room during the 11 days in Auckland so tried this apartment which is out of my image. Best location, lots of bars within walking distance. the water view is perfect and can have breakfast at the balcony watching cruises back and forth. will come back again for sure!

Paddy was very helpful with all our questions when we arrived to get our keys for the apartment. One gentleman even made a special trip to bring us an extra key. The apartment was wonderful with 2 king bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, eating area and a huge living area just like the pictures. Supplying a hairdryer was greatly appreciated. It was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed the harbor view from the extra large balcony. It was convenient to shopping, grocery store, and the Britomart for travel. We enjoyed many of the restaurants on and near the Wharf. It made our 1st week of vacation a pleasure and I would recommend it highly. Thank you Paddy
