Modern Navajo traditional hogan nestled in Klagetoh, Arizona. Klagetoh Arizona is considered high desert, elevation ranges from 6300 to 6900 feet. Ideal driving distance to Petrified Forest National Park, Canyon de Chelly, and Window Rock. Great views of the Arizona sunsets and starry nights.

The space
The traditional hogan is intended for guests to experience primitive living on the Navajo reservation. Several Navajos across the Navajo reservation do not have the luxury of turning the faucet for water still they enjoy this lifestyle, yet it is seen as a 3rd world living. Whilst electricity is available for use in this home, there are several traditional items in this home, such as a cradle board, weaving tools, traditional hairbrushes, and paintings.

Alcohol is ILLEGAL on the Navajo Reservation, therefore this home is alcohol free. Guests have access to an outdoor outhouse and free to walk in nature. The traditional hogan is intended for guests to experience primitive living on the Navajo reservation. Several Navajos across the Navajo reservation do not have the luxury of turning the faucet for water still they enjoy this lifestyle, yet it is seen as a 3rd world living. Whilst electricity is available for use in this home, there are several traditional items in this home, such as a cradle board, weaving tools, traditional hairbrushes, and paintings.

FOR 4 GUESTS OR MORE Single bed cots will be set out along with bed and futon.

The entire hogan is for your use. A wash basin, hand soap, towels, keurig, coffee pods, tea pods, sweeteners/sugar, small refrigerator, microwave, fire extinguisher, wood stove, fire wood, and striker are available for the guest. Bedding essentials include a fitted sheet, blankets, pillows, queen size bed, and full size futon. A small dining consists of 2 chairs and a table.

Guest access
Guest have access to the entire hogan and Mother Nature.
