Nestling in a wooded river valley below Bodmin Moor in a peaceful hamlet 1 mile from the village of St. Neot, Swallows Barn is a detached former barn and carthouse set in generous gardens with far reaching views and river-side & moorland walks. The living area is double height with a spiral staircase leading to a twin bedroom and viewing gallery. The property has gas central heating and a wood burning stove. The kitchen is well equipped. All bedlinen and towels are provided.

Retired architect with specialist experience in the conservation of historic buildings; Artist. We bought the barn in a completely uninhabitable condition. We had the building and adjacent ground level dug out to original levels which created two floors in the main barn and a satisfying space in the adjacent ‘wing’ where we now have the kitchen. We hope the result is a special home with lots of character of the original barn building.
