The location cant be beat and the peaceful ambiance and tranquil views and surroundings will have you relaxed in no time. This unit is perfect for romantic getaways, families and friends. And if your single, whether you are here for business or pleasure, your sure to enjoy the space as well!

The space

This is an awesome condominium unit! 180 degree ocean views from both the large living area, bedroom and balcony. Also featured are a full kitchen, dining area and full bathroom. The furnishings were newly placed in the unit as of 8/16. The king sized bed is an extremely comfortable memory foam bed to ensure a good nights rest. The sofa is convertible to a queen size. There is a desk area under the window in the bedroom to those of you who need to work, but want to be reminded where you are. After sunset on every Friday night, enjoy the fireworks show from the Hilton Hawaiian Lagoon.

The kitchen offers guests everything they need for preparing meals. Refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven, toaster and coffee maker is standard. Also included are pots, pans, dishes, glasses, flatware and cooking utensils.

A dinette set is located in the unit to enjoy your lovingly prepared meals.

All linens and bath towel and cloths are included for use as well as a complimentary set of body soap, shampoo and conditioner.

All taxes are included and no resort fees are charged!

Guest access

The property is accessible via four to all floors. Located on site is a public parking garage at $20/day, coin operated laundromat located on the 8th floor. On the ground floor of the property are three restaurants, Red Lobster, The Charthouse and Outback Steakhouse. The walkway connector between this property and the Modern hotel is a great way to make your way to the beach and lagoon from the privacy of your balcony.

I enjoy interactions with my guests and enjoy striving to meet their requests and answering questions about the area, island and state. I deeply respect my guest's boundaries in order to allow them to enjoy their experience without interruption.

In general, all guests are asked to be a good neighbor and to also comply with the following:
-Loud music or TV playback is generally not allowed.
-Trash chutes are located on all floors. Please adhere to posted signing. If you have items too large for the trash chute, please use the dumpster in the garage.
-Items may never hang over or from a lanai ledge.
-Intoxicated behavior in any common area is prohibited.
-Leave sand on the beach. Sand is not permitted in the drains or throughout the unit.
-Smoking is not permitted in this unit.

The cleaning fee compensates the housekeeper for their expenses (parking, laundry, supplies, etc) when they clean your unit upon check out. Initial supplies at check-in include: Travel size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, two rolls of toilet paper, dish soap and one roll of paper towels. Units are not re-supplied during a guest's visit. Laundry is the responsibility of the guest during the guest's stay as required by the guest. Guests are not required to leave newly laundered towels and linens upon check out, however if there are any stains, the guest is required to remove the stain or replace the item at their expense.

All lost or damaged items must be replaced by the guest prior to check out.

Guests must leave the unit in good order including washing all dishes and disposing of trash.

The flat looks exactly like in the photos. The view is stunning, and the location great. It was a short walk to the conference centre, nearby restaurant, public transportation, or to the beach. Richard was responsive with our questions, and provided detailed instructions for the flat.

Richard was such a great host. We arrived late in night but was able to get keys from the lockbox.The information provided by Richard regarding the apartment was detailed. The room was clean with all basic amenities and (URL HIDDEN) is opposite discovery bay area with ocean facing and you can also see Hilton's fireworks from the apartment on every Friday

Richard's space is absolutely fantastic. It's got everything you need for your stay, and Richard provided plenty of information about the space and the surrounding area. It's just as described, and the view is just amazing. We'd definitely stay here again when we return.

Since the room commands a great ocean view, it could have been a great value. However, the bathtub drainage was terribly clogged with filth already when I checked in (There is another reviewer who previously pointed out the drainage issue), and the plumber had to come and deal with the filthy and clogged drain. But who wants to use the once turdy bathtub if you physically saw the dirty filth all over the bathtub? Therefore, afterward, I didn't use the bathtub at all throughout my stay and used public shower on beaches. I only used it for a very brief shower for my kids, and I really had hard time to ensure none of the kids’ body except their feet touch the bathtub floor whenever they had a shower. This was an extreme inconvenience. Washstand in the bathroom was also pretty dirty with the steel strainer accumulating all the filth (It was my first time in my life to see a steel strainer in the toilet washstand.) and mold in the area such as overflow drain hole. On a separate note, if Richard send you a message like “You are not obligated to clean or do laundry.", I recommend you thinking prudently before resorting to such a statement. Although I have put up with this gross bathroom without raising any further complaints in order not to ruin my holiday spirit, Richard responded with an absurd 200 bucks claim basically using the photos of the area not cleaned as per his own instruction. It is a pity that my holiday was totally ruined.

Guest left dirty dishes with food still them from one end of the kitchen to the other and stacked up in the sink. Food left out in the open and no trash was disposed of. House rules state to wash dishes and dispose of trash. Guest stained linens and towels with unknown substances requiring us to replace them. Some towels were missing. Guest refused to pay for the additional time required to clean the unit and the replacement of damaged and lost items. As for the tub experience, the guest notified me within a couple of hours of check in. I immediately contacted a plumber and this was resolved within two hours. We also sanitized the tub after repairs. Guest made no further claims throughout the rest of the stay, which leads me to believe the "story" about not using the tub for the rest of the stay probably has no truth to it. And who allows their kids to bath in such horrible conditions as this guest would lead us to believe? Who does this? Very dirty and dishonest guest.

I am so happy to be living here in Hawaii and hope to live out the rest of my life in this amazing place.
