A primitive campsite in the Adirondack Park. It is off a private dirt road near Putnam Creek, below Stairs Falls in Crown Point. Nearby activities include hiking (High Peaks & most mountainous county in NY), fishing, history (Forts- Ticonderoga, Museums & first smelting site to use an electromagnet, 'birth place of the electric age in U.S.) and water sports (Lake's Champlain, George, Paradox, Eagle, Pharaoh Wilderness, Ausable Chasm & Keene Valley). This is a pack-it-in & pack-it-out site.

The space
The campsite can be used by tents, car camping or small RV's that are maneuverable. There is a $5.00 per night charge for each camper over 4. There is also a 2 car limit. You must be self contained. Everything you need must be brought in and carried back out. There is an outhouse provided for privacy. You will need to purchase your own Porta-Poddy to put inside the outhouse while you are there. You need to take it with you when you leave. There is no dumping station. For those that do not own a Porta-Poddy, prices range from $20 - $75 depending on your preference. Examples of each are uploaded with my campsite pictures.

Guest access
The neighbor has No Trespassing signs on his property. Please respect them and don't access the creek next to their property. Park only in my designated parking area. The driveway is shared by the neighbors on both sides and is on the property of the neighbors on the other side of it. There is also a right of way driveway for the neighbors on my side. It runs between my campsite and my camp.

I am section Hiking the Appalachian Trail and have also started biking the ECG. I have 2 medium to large rescue dogs (to keep each other company when I work long hours), the second was an OOPS when I started Forstering for the Atlanta Dog Squad (they rescue retrievers). I am especially fond of White animals. My favorite state is NorthCarolina but I also love Florida (and I am a Gator as well as a Tar Heel. I worked at DUKE as a RN in their Cardiothoracic Unit for 10 years). My son was born at Duke the morning after UNC won the NCAA Basketball Tourney. I like to road trip and travel to the South/Eastern Carribean. I also have a camp in the Adirondacks (NY). My family vacationed there my whole life and my Mom manages it for me now that she has retired there. I'm kind of a Gypsy Spirit!
