This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
The quiet village of Ampfield is not far from the New Forest, and only 8 miles from the historic city of Winchester. Southampton and Portsmouth are easily accessible.
Beaches of Bournemouth are a 45 minute drive.
The property is situated on a quiet country lane, with a number of country walks from our doorstep.
No street lighting or nearby bus service. Your own transport is therefore advised.

The space
The annexe is a recently decorated, self-contained studio apartment, on the first floor of a 2 storey extension. Guests have their own entrance via the ground floor, where there is a locked dividing door to the main house.
Facilities include a kitchen, living/bedroom area and a separate bathroom. The fully-equipped kitchen includes an oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. Sliding doors to the balcony offer beautiful rural views. TV with Freeview and local guide books are available for guest use.

The annexe is up one flight of stairs, regrettably with no disabled access.

We are situated on a quiet country lane around farmland. There are a number of tracks and bridleways to explore from the house. There are two pubs with dining and an 18 hole par 3 golf course in Ampfield.
The Sir Harold Hillier Gardens are only a five minute drive away. The New Forest and historic Winchester, the Saxon capital of England, are a short drive away.

Within an hour:
Portsmouth with its naval dockyard, which houses HMS Victory and the Mary Rose. Bournemouth, a popular sandy beach resort.
Salisbury with its magnificent Cathedral and quaint shops.
The prehistoric stone circles at Stonehenge.
