Located 300m from 'Maison du Dr Gachet', the former home of Van Gogh's doctor (now a museum). Creperie, bar, boulangerie/patisserie and convenience store are all within five minutes' walk.
Auvers-sur-Oise is a picturesque village nestled in the Vexin Français Natural Regional Park. It was much loved by the Impressionists, in particular Van Gogh, who described it as "seriously beautiful" .
Further afield, we recommend the artistic and historic town of Pontoise (5km) and the pretty tourist town of L'isle-Adam (10km). Paris is 35km away.
