120 m2 loft apartment with private roof terrace, two bathrooms, two kitchens and plenty of space. Design furniture, very quiet, but in lively Friedrichshain. Excellent public transport connectivity.

The space

Three spaces, two entrances, roof terrace, two bathrooms, two kitchens, wifi, tv, all included in fixed price per night: your place for a short or long stay in Berlin!

The apartment consists of three rooms. The space is well designed and unconventional. Don't expect "bedrooms", "living rooms", "kitchens". The spaces are multifunctional, have their privacy, and you will feel at home in no time.

In the center of Berlin East, close to East Side Gallery, 5 minutes from S-Bahn Warschauer Strasse and U-Bahn Frankfurter Tor. All major tourist sites can be reached in only a couple of minutes, whether it is the East Side Gallery, Jewish Museum, TV Tower, Brandenburger Tor, it is all just a few subway stops away.

The famous skateboarding site Warschauer Strasse is 1 minute away, the Skatehalle Berlin is only 5 minutes away.

The apartment is very quiet as it is located in the top floor of the court yard.

Everything is next door: Supermarkets, shops, restaurants (the Simon-Dach-Strasse is around the corner).

Closest Railway station: Berlin Ostbahnhof
Airport Berlin Schoenfeld is 20 minutes by taxi, but can also be reached by S-Bahn.
Airport Berlin Tegel is 40 minutes by taxi, but a fast track bus takes you from the airport to Berlin Hauptbahnhof, from which it is only a few stops to station Warschauer Strasse, where the apartment is located.

Other things to note

Please take care of your keys! The keys are expensive to reproduce as they are numbered and locked. Each key costs EUR 50. If you loose them, you need to pay on check-out.

A lovely spacious, light apartment with everything you need. The roof terrace and balconies are great and enabled a quiet outdoor space. Stefan was a helpful host and everything was clean and tidy and as in the pictutures. The building is smart and well looked after. The location is easy for the U Bahn or only about a 40 min walk into the centre of Berlin. There are some great bars and restaurants in the street behind that we fully recommend - also the clubs on Revaler Strasse were awesome. Fully recommend - good value for money.

Fantastic apartment in a great location - the place was much bigger than expected, the living room is huge and has its own balcony. Well equipped, nice bathrooms and with a fantastic roof terrace. The only thing that wasn't perfect is the bedroom situation - there is one small room with a real double bed but no external windows (the room is the size of the bed itself with a little space on one side - the bed was comfortable though!) and one second living room that has a sofa that folds out into a sofa bed. There's also the option to use the living room sofa as an extra fold out bed. If having a spacious bedroom is one of your main priorities, then perhaps this isn't the place for you, but if you are looking for a beautifully kept apartment which is an amazing space to hang out in, I would definitely recommend it! For me, it was worth the slight tradeoff!

The apartment is large, bright, tastefully furnished and in a great location. It's at the top of the building so, despite being on busy Warschauer Straße, it was very quiet. The location is excellent for the Berghain, the bars and restaurants on Simon Dach Straße and the Saturday market (recommended!) on Saturdays. Friedrichshain is a great neighbourhood and you can travel from there to any other part of the city very easily. The interior layout of the apartment has a quirky configuration which made our stay interesting. The roof terrace was great for sitting in the sun with a glass of wine or a beer. The apartment can sleep 6 but I think a maximum of four people is about right. I stayed with one other friend so we both had a bedroom and bathroom each. Any more than 4 and the apartment would feel cramped. Stefan was great and very flexible regarding timings and collection of keys. Tip: you only get one set of keys by default so if you are a group of four ask for an extra set. I recommend staying in this apartment as it's trendy and cool but also comfortable and quiet. The flat is in a block that has been completely refurbished quite recently, everything both in the block and the flat was modern and well set up. The rooms are much bigger than they look on the photos helped by the very high ceilings and even though the layout is open plan, there is plenty of room for two couples, although privacy is only just acceptable, the second kitchen is a complete waste of space it just becomes a dressing room for the minute second bedroom. The balconies and roof terrace are excellent and we made full use of them. It is surprisingly extremely quiet as it overlooks a courtyard at the back of the building. The flat is perfectly situated, with two tram lines outside and the two stations with 3 U and 2 S lines all within a couple of hundred yards and a full size supermarket open 24 hours on the street corner, we couldn't ask for more. We had a lovely walk to Alexanderplatz in half an hour. Definitely a flat we would use again.

Beautiful, light, spacious apartment, perfect location.. i would recommend this apartment to anyone. Jac was away the weekend we stayed but his friend Stefan met me with the keys, showed me around and was available for any questions. Thanks Stefan! Loved our 3 nights here and hope to be back soon!!
