Stabburet is a log building from 1816, and is located on a farm with old buildings in Vest-Agder. It is 4 km to the shop, about 50 km to Kristiansand/ferry to Denmark and 35 km to Mandal. About 10 km to Marnardal station, the train can be seen from the square.

The space
There are two smaller fishing waters on the property, both with trout. Also nice swimming opportunities Forest terrain around with nice hiking opportunities. Salmon fishing in Audnaelva and Mandalselva are popular tourist destinations in the area, where fishing licences must be purchased.

Guest access
The storage room is not so big, a bedroom upstairs, kitchen/living room downstairs, as well as a shower and toilet in a small room each and a small hallway. Those who rent it don't have to share space with anyone else.

Other things to note
In the meadow in front and in the woods in the back, there are cattle in pasture parts of the summer. These are clever, but they are fenced in anyway.
You can see and hear the train from the yard, but it's not a big nuisance.

The stabbur is located on the courtyard of an old farm. The main house is inhabited and there is a house in the neighborhood that is resident in. There is plenty of space for parking and activities in the courtyard.
The railway line passes in front, but in good distance( about 500m on the other side of the road and a water). Many people like the sound(and sight of) the train passing by, while some people find it noisy.
