Villa Nikolaos is a traditional farmhouse with over a century of history. Restored in the early 1990s, it maintains its original charm while adding modern updates. Located on a hillside, the villa offers clear views of the surrounding green landscape. It covers 130 m² and has two bedrooms, accommodating up to 5 guests.

The ground floor of the villa includes a living room with a 50″ smart TV, a Bluetooth speaker, and a fireplace, a dining area for up to six guests, and a fully equipped kitchen. A WC with a washing machine is also available on this level.
First Floor
A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor, which has two bedrooms. fIRST bedroom includes a Queen-size bed (1.60m x 2.00m), air conditioning, and central heating. The second bed includes a Queen-size bed (1.60m x 2.00m) and an extra single bed (0.90 x 2.00). The first floor also features the bathroom with a bathtub and a 40 m² veranda with outdoor seating and views of the surroundings.
The outdoor area of the Villa covers 1300 sq. meters, featuring:
- A 32 sq. meter swimming pool. It is situated in the best spot, offering an amazing view of the surroundings. The pool terrace is equipped with sunbeds and seating areas for your comfort.
- Barbeque facilities with a charcoal grill and an outdoor dining table for al fresco dining
- A garden with roses and various flowers, large carob trees, stone-built terraces with grapevines and fruit trees, and vegetable gardens where you can learn how to cultivate vegetables. Moreover, you can even use the freshly harvested produce when preparing your meals during your stay. The spacious gardens also offer ample chances for kids to play around.
- Parking space inside the villa premises.
- The villa has a gated entrance and is fully fenced, offering complete privacy.
**Accommodation cost excludes Climate Resilience Tax. The amount for the accommodation type is set at €15 per night from April to October and €4 per night from November to March, payable upon check-in.

The village is located on a high hill, surrounded by the area where the ancient city of Eleftherna was located. It is the main archaeological site of the prefecture. The archaeological site and the newly built museum of Ancient Eleftherna are worth a visit for discovering and feeling the ancient history of the area.
The sea is approximately 15 kilometres away. Nearby (11 km) is found the historical abbey Arkadi, the traditional village Margarites (5 km) with a living tradition in pottery going back 5,000 years and a lot of other small picturesque villages, that still maintain their lively colors and traditional architecture. For those who love the quietness, strolling, the nature and the genuine Cretan landscape, it is an exceptional choice.
Still, because of its position in the prefecture of Rethymno, access by car is easy to most parts of the island, for example Chania, Heraklion, Sfakia, Anogeia, Nida, Knossos, Faistos and the southern coast beaches, that are many and beautiful. The road network is excellent and passes through some of the most beautiful and still attached landscapes in Crete. Particularly we recommend the visit in the southern coasts, via the very green province of Amari via Arkadi, Thronos, Meronas, Gerakari, and Spili etc.
