About this listing

This gorgeous tiny house features a full kitchen, eating area, bathroom with shower and sleeping loft. Located on the premises of Starseed Healing Sanctuary, it is a lovely get-away spot for an individual or couple. The water is now on for the warm season.

The space

This 8'x20' tiny house has beautiful interior wood paneling with many thoughtful details and a clean, fresh feel.

Guest access

The kitchen has a sink, gas stove, small refrigerator, toaster oven, dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
The bathroom has a shower stall and composting toilet.
There is a ladder to the sleeping loft.

Interaction with guests

Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed by Starseed staff who are available should any need arise during your stay. Other than that, guests have the tiny house to themselves.

Other things to note

If you will be arriving after dark, it is good to bring a flashlight.
The sleeping loft requires traveling up and down a ladder, which is very study and securely fastened, but is a ladder, not stairs. Guests must be comfortable with this arrangement.
There are some seasonal aspects of this house including that there is no running water during the cold season (drinking and cooking water is provided, and the shower can be used in the main retreat building) and the only heat in the house is by a tiny wood stove. Rental of this space in the winter months requires comfort with using a wood stove.
There is no telephone or internet access in the tiny house. Access may be available in the main retreat building via calling card or wifi.
Cell phone use is very spotty and not reliable.

Exactly as other visitors have described - beautiful, peaceful and a wonderful experience! I will definitely plan to go back again to explore some of the many adventures offered in the area. I'm hoping to have my own tiny house someday soon, and this trip erased any doubt. The Starseed land was a perfect counterpart to the tiny house.

My weekend at the tiny house was exactly what I needed - it was peaceful, quiet, and cozy. The house is as described, and Aravinda's mom was lovely and helpful. The wood stove kept me plenty warm on this cold, early New England spring weekend. Despite not having running water, I was fine as plenty of spring and well water were provided for drinking, cooking, and cleaning. I would love to return in warmer weather or in the fall when some of the hiking areas will be more accessible.

This was an incredible and interesting experience. My partner and I decided to spend Christmas together and we were able to take amazing portraits for family and friends as well as a lovely Christmas video. Not having service was a bit frightening however it was extremely refreshing. We spent our stay at the cabin with the cozy fire and hot cocoa. You can head over to my Instagram/zigventures and see for yourselves it was a lovely experience. Would definitely recommend it!

We had a very cozy and comfortable stay in the cabin. Everything we needed was supplied. We were very warm with a little wood wood stove, and we found the futon in The Loft to be quite comfortable. We walked from the cabin to the state park down the road and had a lovely time among the waterfalls and the snowy Forest. Satyena greeted us and was available for any questions. All in all a great stay!

We arrived around 8PM at the tiny house and Aravinda's mother Satyena was there to warmly greet us. She showed us around the tiny house and was prepared to answer all of our questions. The tiny house itself was a dream! We had always been curious about these and jumped at the chance to stay at this one when we found it on AirBnB. There is no cell phone service whatsoever around the location, so be prepared! The closest town is about 30-40 minute drive, so I'd suggest you bring your own groceries. The compost toilet was also surprisingly pleasant and the shower was much larger than we were expecting. We spent our days hiking the nearby trails to tannery falls as well as exploring the sanctuary itself. It was absolutely beautiful and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a real getaway.
