The space
This is a very peaceful location with a west-facing garden area that catches the sunset and offers wonderful views. The car parking space is off road and hidden from sight. There are two manageable sets of six steps leading to the Studio, which are well-lit at night. King bed with a single mattress available if separate sleeping is required. We provide a generous continental breakfast and will happily cater for dietary requirements within reason.
Private shower room has towels and soap, and shampoo is provided. There is a large wardrobe/cupboard for storage & the studio has central heating. The hairdryer is stored in the cupboard. Patio doors lead to the covered veranda, which overlooks your garden area and the surrounding countryside. External socket for use with your EV charger (cost to be agreed). We have a family dog called Nutmeg who lives completely separately to The Studio accommodation areas, both inside and outside.
Close to excellent cycling and walking routes: The Worcester Way is a waymarked long-distance trail that runs along the valley opposite the Studio and the Malvern Hills Biking Trail offers a range of routes across and around the Malvern Hills. We offer a bike-wash area and secure cycle locking points. There is a covered drying area for wet clothes and boots, and there are radiator airers in the Studio. Plenty of parking space.

Guest access
All of The Studio is your private space. In addition you have sole use of the garden area, the only other people coming into it will be the postman or the occasional courier!

Other things to note
Whilst the Studio is completely self-contained, it is connected to our main home via 2 solid, internal locked doors. The adjacent area is not a daytime living area - our main living spaces are either downstairs or at the far end of the house.

Neighbourhood highlights

We are situated in a tranquil valley facing Southwest with woods and hills all around. The spa town of Great Malvern is 4 miles away and offers a wide range of restaurants, the highly-renowned Malvern Festival Theatre and many independent shops and cafes as well as a variety of supermarkets. There is also a retail park, a sports centre and a hospital.
Local facilities in the village include an Italian café/restaurant, our fabulous village shop/Post Office, a Friday night/Saturday afternoon Brewery & Tap Room with a different local food option on Friday nights and a nearby farm shop.
The village shop is a 5 minute walk and the Tap Room is within easy walking distance. We are very lucky to have The Hop Shed Brewery which is the only brewery in the UK situated on a hop farm!
Local pubs include The Fox and Hounds at Lulsley and the Red Lion at Cradley both serving food all weekend. All of them serve great meals, menus are available to view online. Our village pub is currently under refurbishment. The Talbot at Knightwick is about 3-4 miles drive and is located on the banks of the River Teme offering a lovely pub garden to relax in.
There is a wide choice of nearby eateries and cafes: The Live and Let Live WR6 5UW is a thatched, 16th Century former cider house tucked away on nearby Bringsty Common that serves delicious food (closed Mondays). Their website has 3 different walks on the common that you can do from their car park before you sample their wares! The Royal Oak at Broadwas WR6 5NE has a reasonably-priced daily carvery and an à la carte menu and if you head towards Worcester via Bransford you will find The Fold WR6 5JB offering a café serving great coffee and wholesome, healthy food, much of which is grown on their own farm - meaning zero food miles.
There is a Chinese & Thai Takeaway in Leigh Sinton (closed Tuesdays) WR13 5DS - phone number is in The Studio and an excellent Thai restaurant and takeaway in the village of Colwall.
The Knapp and Papermill Nature Reserve (1.5m) has woodland, old valley meadows and orchards to explore. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The historic centre of Worcester (9m) offers a wealth of attractions and events throughout the year as well as excellent retail and dining facilities.
Ledbury (10m) is an ancient market town with a deep sense of local history and an active cultural calendar and the Three Counties Showground (8m) hosts numerous events throughout the year. The local town of Bromyard (7 m) holds a well-established folk festival each September and Brockhampton National Trust is located 2 miles outside the town and is magical at Christmas.
For music-lovers, Upton upon Severn (13m) holds very popular Folk, Jazz and Blues Festivals throughout the Summer and the Welland Steam Rally is an annual event celebrating the golden era of steam.
Local bee-keeping courses are also available nearby to the Studio.

Hi, we are a family of four living in the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and we really love it here with all its walking, cycling and opportunites for getting outside. We like being well-connected to major cities but also thrive on open spaces and fresh air. As a family we love meeting people and having a chat and seeing as we work from home we are often about in the daytime. We are an open and welcoming bunch of people and we are happy to share our knowledge of the area with you if you'd like any tips. We're looking forward to hosting you in our relaxing and airy studio. Whatever the season, you will feel warm and welcomed and well-provided for!
