Our cottage is in a beautiful location and setting. Nestled among the trees with a tree top view. Private and peaceful. This is not a waterfront property but only 100 m (2-3 min walk) to the water for lake access (no dock) to enjoy kayaking and exploring the lake. It is fully equipped for a getaway with wifi and a smart TV. Small but cozy, with a huge, sunny deck to enjoy during the day or retreat to the screened pergola room in the evening. 10 minutes east of Haliburton.

The space
This private, cozy cottage is picturesque and tranquil. One bedroom with a queen bed, the second bedroom with a double bed and the third bedroom has a bunk bed. Newly renovated bathroom as well as the cottage has been freshly painted with all new flooring. The kitchen has been recently upgraded that adds charm and character to this shabby chic cottage.
This comfy cottage is an inviting space for guests to relax and enjoy the scenery and all it has to offer.
There is excellent outdoor space with a huge, sunny deck that offers sun all day, a pergola screened in room for evening relaxation and a shady area with Muskoka chairs. Our recently added screened in room pergola adds extra space for evening comfort. Enjoys a quiet evening with a table top fire pot, cozy seating, surrounded by the tree tops. There is space for kids to play, toss a ball or explore nature in the forest. A fire pit for evening campfires with a supply of wood is accessible for guests to use. Enjoy a game of horseshoes or a stroll to the lake ( a 3 minute walk ) where you can access our water toys and a large lily pad swim mat to sun bathe on. We have a paddle board, pedal boat for 2 and 3 kayaks (2 adult and one child - life jackets are included) for you to use and enjoy.
Long Lake is a 2 chain lake which joins with Miskwabi lake. Enjoy some fishing, ATV trails and all that Haliburton has to offer. Lots to see and do in this perfect location.

I am a teacher and mom of 3. I adore the north and all it has to offer. I love vintage and antique treasures. I enjoy creating a space where guests can unwind and get away from the hectic pace of life. I love the outdoors including kayaking and snowmobiling. A good book and cozy fire are also a fav of mine. I enjoy hosting new guests and sharing my love of the north.
