The space
Welcome to The Pup & Pine, a cozy walkout suite just 10 minutes from Boone.

Whether you’re a solo traveler or a couple (with or without a pup), this spot is designed for comfort, quiet, and convenience.

Sip your coffee on the private patio, unwind after a day of exploring, and feel right at home in the mountains.

We’ve added thoughtful touches for dog parents, including a treat jar, waste bags, and (coming soon!) a dog bed and bowls — because pups deserve a comfy stay too.

This is a walkout suite attached to our home, so you may hear light footsteps above

4WD or AWD is required from November through April due to steep, curvy mountain roads. Please plan accordingly to ensure a safe arrival.

Beautiful, quiet and modern space you'll love to relax in
The TV has an Amazon Firestick attached which you can use to log onto your favorite streaming services. Please note that cable tv is not available in our neighborhood.

• Blowing Rock – 20 mins: charming town with pet-friendly patios
• Julian Price Lake & Trails – 25 mins: perfect for paddling or hiking with your pup
• Blue Ridge Parkway – 15 mins: stunning overlooks and leashed dog hiking
• WagBar in Weaverville – a little farther, but a dog park + bar combo that’s worth the trip if you’re heading that way

Offers a dog-friendly patio where you can enjoy a variety of craft beers and ciders. It’s a popular local hangout with a welcoming atmosphere for both humans and their canine companions.
• Lost Province Brewing Co. (10 mins)
Their second-floor open-air deck is pet-friendly on a seasonal basis. It’s advisable to call ahead to confirm current pet policies. 
• SouthEnd Brewing Co. (10 mins)
Located in downtown Boone, this brewery welcomes dogs in their outdoor seating area. It’s a great place to enjoy craft beers in a pet-friendly environment. 

Guest access
Guests will have their own entrance around the right side of the house and down the stairs. Please note only 1 vehicle is allowed in the driveway as this is shared with the guests of the house.

Other things to note
While there is not a kitchen in the suite, there is a mini fridge, toaster oven, microwave, and Kuerig coffee maker

The wall unit for heating heats the space well!

AWD/4WD is required November - April

If you plan on using a hair dryer or any other high-load electric device please use it in the bathroom, as the other circuits in the apartment could trip the breaker if used while the heat is on.

The driveway has space for ONE guest vehicle, so please be aware when booking. Also, we cannot accommodate large trucks and oversized SUVs bc there is not enough space. Thank you for understanding!

Please note, this suite is part of a larger house where there may be our family or other guests staying. The driveway is shared but your suite is private with its own entrance.

Dogs are not allowed on the furniture. A $200 fee will be charged if excessive pet hair is found on beds or furniture. Thank you for helping us keep the space fresh for all guests!
