Located on the Main Street through Waikiki KALAKAUA AVE. The entire condo is yours. This is NOT a shared unit. This is a true one bedroom with secure covered parking in the building. One block to the best, biggest sandy beach of Waikiki at the Hilton. This is NOT like many of the other listings with no elevator, three blocks from the beach or even miles from Waikiki. This is in the heart of Waikiki one block to the beach close to the Convention Center, Ala Moana Mall and restaurants.

The space
State Excise tax is 4.712% Transient Accommodations tax is 10.25% Great News! Your Taxes are included in the pricing!

The rate is based on occupancy for two. There is an additional charge of $14 per night per person INCLUDING infants and toddlers. Rate is based on additional wear and tear to the condo. Additional charge will be collected before keys are handed over to condo.

This is one of the few legal vacation rentals so you do not have to worry about a last minute cancellation. Parking is included. This is located one block to the Hawaii Convention Center and three blocks to Ala Moana Shopping Center. This condo is located directly on Kalakaua Ave. and is one block to the beach. This is an immaculate one bedroom that sleeps up to four comfortably. This air-conditioned executive suite has lots of upgrades and additions. The unit is equipped with high speed internet access and a wireless signal for your personal laptop. It has a Deluxe King bed in the bedroom and a very comfortable queen sleeper couch bed (Natuzzi) with lots of extra linens. There is also a single futon with linens. This condo boasts a full kitchen with granite counter top and oak cabinetry, full size refrigerator, stove/oven, pots, pans, rice cooker, dishes and silverware, T-Fal toaster, heavy duty blender, 2 color TVs, microwave/Browner, tea pot, coffee maker and grinder, iron and ironing board and lots of towels.

The unit is on the second floor and easily accessible by stairs or elevator. Convenient secure covered parking is included. There are fireworks one block away at the Hilton Hawaiian Beach Resort and Spa every Friday night between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm. Your Hawaii experience will be enhanced due to the condo proximity to the beach, ocean activities, shopping, night life and restaurants.

Nearby activities include: Golf, Tennis, Fishing, Wildlife Viewing, Shopping, Restaurants, Live Theater, Cinemas, Museums, Sightseeing, Swimming, Snorkeling & Diving, Boating, Sailing, Surfing, Windsurfing, Parasailing, Jet Skiing, Shelling.

HOW TO GET TO THE BEACH FROM THE CONDO: Go out the front of the building and Right at the sidewalk to the corner. Turn Right at the corner without crossing the street. At the next corner you will be adjacent to the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa. Just cross the street to the widest sand section of Waikiki Beach. FREE PARKING

Normally there are fireworks every Friday night behind the Hilton between 7:45 and 8:15 pm but due to Covid we have taken a break. Sorry

Other things to note
My rate is based on wear and tear on the condo. The base rate is for double occupancy. There is an additional charge of $14 per night per person (which includes the 14.962% state tax) . This also applies to toddlers and infants due to the wear and tear on the condo. It is not like on a plane when your infant stays on your lap. Don't get me wrong. I love kids. I was a Kindergarten teacher.

I am a single father who found a way to spend alot of time with my son while making a living. I had no idea the two condos I had purchased before my son was born were zoned for vacation rentals. I believe we can make all the plans we want but the final outcome is up to God. I know many people may only visit Hawaii once in their lifetime and every minute of their time here is precious. I try to treat others as I would like to be treated. I have gained some weight since that picture so I explain to people that I used to be a Chippendale's Dancer and now I am a Chips Ahoy Dancer! My son is a top student at the University of Hawaii and will be attending medical school when he graduates. He wants to be a top surgeon to help others....not for the moolah. In any of his endeavors he has tweaked a better way of doing things. If you stay here, thank you for helping to pay his tuition.

Sorry about all the following information but I have read it over and over and cannot eliminate any part in order to be fair to both of us. I tend to ignore stuff people tell me I have to read. Please be better than that.

CHECK IN INSTRUCTIONS:

1. When entering the driveway from Kalakaua Ave. you will need to use the parking card to enter the garage. It is the same electronic key used for the building entrance. Just swipe it on the sensor until the garage door opens. The price includes parking stall #20 and the parking card for the underground garage parking stall. The smaller your rental car the easier it will be to park in the "Waikiki Size" parking stall. Please DO NOT BACK IN. Please be careful of the low concrete overhang on the passenger side of your car. If you are taller than 5' 6" you could hit your head.

2. You have 3 KEYS:
A. The Security key is the different looking one that cannot be reproduced and cost $100 to replace. You will use it to enter the building.
B. The normal key fits the dead bolt and the doorknob of the front door.
C. The smaller round key is used inside the elevator to get to the basement parking area. You will turn the key to the right then push "B" to get to the basement. Once you have pushed the "B" you may let go and take the key out. You will use it to enter the elevator from the basement parking area also. Just turn to the right then you may turn it back and pull it out. The elevator will travel anywhere else without the key.

3. This is a city unit so please leave the windows closed and bedroom AC running 24/7. It will keep the unit cleaner and quiet. You will be responsible for any excess grime from windows being left open. Should you use the patio located off the bedroom please open thecurtains using the curtain pulleys and rope prior to opening the sliding door. Our “Tradewinds” will blow the curtains to shreds which will be your responsibility. The winds can gust at anytime.

4. Basically if you just leave the one AC in the bedroom on you can avoid any of the following problems.

******IMPORTANT******
ONLY TWO OF THE FOLLOWING FOUR ITEMS CAN BE TURNED ON AT THE SAME TIME:
1. AC in bedroom
2. AC in front room
3. Vacuum Cleaner
4. Hair/Blow Dryer

ANY INFRACTION MAY RESULT IN A POWER OUTAGE....If I am on the other side of the island it could be hours before you get your power back...NOTE: THE BREAKER HAS NEVER TRIPPED WHEN ONLY ONE AC IS TURNED ON. 99% of the time only one air conditioner is needed to keep the unit cool. The preferred AC is the bedroom AC. Although either AC is powerful enough to keep the whole unit cool the livingroom AC will stay on but stop cooling after the condensation level fills. At that time the water holder on the bottom back side will need to be emptied. The only time you will need both ACs "On" is when it is very hot and there are enough people to sleep in both the bedroom and living room so the bedroom door is shut at night. If the breaker trips call Resident Mgr: Neal Pendleton 808-354-2005

-Welcome to Hawaii where the air is alive with life…..unfortunately this includes INSECTS. After careful research I’ve found the best way to keep insects out is to starve them out. This means no food or liquids left out. Please throw away all trash across from the front door inthe trash chute. Cockroaches and ants will find the crumbs we normally don’t see and just brush off ourselves. Cockroach excrement can have salmonella poisoning. You will find ants and cockroaches in all Hawaii’s finest hotels….comes with paradise. By the way GECKOS eat bugs, ants and cockroaches and are considered good luck. They can be found in the top drawer of the bedroom chest……just kidding…..I am checking to see if you really read this.
-During winter months our North Shore big waves are exciting to observe. Waikiki is on the South Shore. Please do not get adventurous and test them. Larger sets come from nowhere and can swallow you up.
-There will be a charge for excess sand in the unit. All occupants and occupant’s belongings should be showered free of sand at the beach shower.
-Using the TVs: You have to turn on the tv and the box
1. Press tv on the top then power
2. Then cbl button then power
-The condo has a high speed broadband connection 24 hours with unlimited use. It also allows a wireless signal for your laptops. The security code is "0123456789" The link is vrbo.com 6141 -You can check channel 57 on the television to see who is at the front of the building.
-The laundry room is located on the first floor accessible by elevator and stairs. It is clean and coin operated.
-I don't advertise that I supply toiletries or toilet paper because it was a problem in the past when guests ran out of items. You will be responsible for your own supplies although you will see that I do make an effort to make you feel welcome.
-The leather couch folds into a bed by first pulling the back support forward then back down until it is flat.
-Should you bring an Iphone or Ipod with you here are instructions how to use the player at the condo:
PYLE Audio CD Player User Manual | ManualsOnline.com
-The condo has a blow dryer and extra towels.
-Please wash all sand off at the BEACH SHOWER before entering the condo. Sand will break the vacuum cleaner. The cleaning fee covers light dusting, vacuuming and linen service (Maximum 2 washer loads).... special deal...keep the unit clean and I will handle ALL the wash at no extra charge
-Please leave the unit as you found it. Please make sure you pack all your belongings as we are not responsible for lost items.
-There will be an additional cleaning charge for dishes left out or in the refrigerator etc. Please leave all furnishings etc, in the same place as you found them. My cleaning girl charges to move furniture etc.
-DISCOLORATION/ DAMAGE Any discoloration/damage to the towels, furniture coverings or bed linens from hair color, hair lighteners, bleach, shoe polish, ink, paint, water colors, urine, facial creams, facial medications or otherwise will be charged to the guest(s). Please make sure that all hair color/hair lighteners/facial creams/facia medications are thoroughly rinsed from hair/face before using the furniture, towels, and/or bed linens.
MAINTENANCE/HOUSEKEEPING – Unlike a hotel, we do not provide 24-hour maintenance or housekeeping services. We will strive to address any maintenance/housekeeping issues quickly, but some issues may be outside of our control such as the failure of the air conditioning, electricity, heating, telephone, cable service, internet service, appliances, entertainment equipment, etc. We will work to arrange for any such problems to be corrected as soon as practical.

You also agree to report promptly any mechanical, electrical, plumbing or other problems on the premises. We do not offer other arrangements, rate adjustments, rebates or refunds should they fail or if the service provider is unable to repair/restore a particular service during your stay.

PROPERTY CARE - Prior to your arrival, our home is inspected for damaged, broken or nonworking items and repairs are made as necessary. Within the first 24 hours of your arrival, please look around to see if there is anything the housekeeping staff overlooked. If there is, please send the Owners an email or text so a remedy can be applied and/or document that it was there upon your arrival so you are not held accountable. If possible, send a photo if it warrants that level of documentation.

Please do not rearrange the furniture or other home articles. If, however, you find it necessary to move something, please move it back before you leave. If you or someone in your party makes a mess, please see that it is cleaned up.
-Any damages to the property will be charged to you. My cleaning girl charges extra to return items to the position you originally rented the condo. Please do not re arrange the condo's contents.
-Should you lose the security key or parking card you will need to pay the resident manger directly for a replacement. I do not have spares.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve you. Enjoy your stay.

Quality Boogie boards and/or snorkeling equipment can be provided for $15/each which will cover the entire visit. Please order prior to arrival.

-When checking out you will need the round elevator key to get to the basement. After driving your car out of the basement please come back to the unit and return all keys and parking card on the kitchen table. There is another way to check out that I learned from my guests. It will take two people. After keying the elevator for the basement one of you could hold the elevator while the second guest returns the keys and parking card to the kitchen table. Please proceed to lock the bottom door knob from the inside on your way out. You do not need any keys to exit the building.

-Check out is before 11am. I will need the parking stall at that time for my cleaning people. Any infraction could result in a charge to your deposit. Your deposit will be deducted for an additional night's stay should the unit not be vacated by 11am as the contract states. There are no half day rates. You will also be responsible for any expenses incurred affecting new guests or cleaning help.

-Your fully refundable $300 reservation deposit becomes your security deposit during your stay. By Hawaii state law it must be postmarked no later than 14 days from your departure. If you check with my past guests, I am much more prompt than that. It will be sent to the same address it was received unless otherwise instructed.

If you have any questions or concerns, I am always available by phone.
Please call Emmanuel Chen at
