Alcala La Real is perfectly situated between Granada, Córdoba and Jaen for those seeking to immerse themselves in the Moorish history, culture and architecture of this region. Surrounded by olive groves and mountainous countryside it also suits those who are seeking a more active holiday, it's perfect for walkers and cyclists.

I'm 62, a mother, grandmother and owner of two lovely dogs. I love music (especially live music), coastal and country. Me and the dogs spend a lot of time walking around the olive groves and the grounds of the Fortaleza de la Mota. Both very close to my place, and amazing destinations for the daily walk!
As an Airbnb host I enjoy meeting the guests who come and stay with me from all over the world. I am always happy to share my local knowledge and go the extra mile so that they get the most out of their stay. Equally, I totally get it when people are looking for some privacy, time alone and quiet and I respect that. I've always prefered to travel independently, often solo, staying in locally owned small guest houses and pensiones and Airbnb fits that bill.
