We are Corona proof.
In the nearest village Dausse there is a small supermarket where you can get fresh bread. You will also find the evening market here on Tuesday in July and August where you can enjoy the purchased products at long tables. In the village of Roquecor (6 km) there is a small local market every Sunday morning where you can enjoy a delicious lunch in the only local restaurant in the village square overlooking the Tarn and Garonne.
In addition, at a distance of 12 km you will find the village of Montaigu de Quercy. Here is a boulangerie artisan, an Intermarché, various restaurants, a café tabac and the organic market on Saturday morning among which more of the rooms offer their newly harvested products for sale.
In addition to the beautiful nature in the Tarn and Garonne, you will also find a wonderful architectural heritage consisting of medieval towns such as: Bruniquel, Caylus, Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, Rocamadour, Conques, Saint-Cirq-La Popie, Sarlat - le - Caneda and the art and history city of Montauban, where the UNESCO-recognized abbey is located.
The historic city of Cahors is at a distance of 40 km. You can spend a day in this city. Cahors offers plenty of cosy restaurants and terraces and has a high shop content. In addition, it is definitely worth a boat trip on the Lot river.

Hospitality is giving someone the VIP feeling
Your host and hostess are Sem and Louise de Jong-Driessen. After having had a holiday home in Burgundy for almost twenty years, we have been the proud owners of Le Vieux Manoir Valeilles in beautiful Tarn and Garonne since February 2016.
Louise has worked in the Netherlands as a French teacher and Sem is a financial advisor. By moving to sunny southern France, a long-awaited dream became a reality. Here we can combine our hobbies, such as cooking, gardening and hosting cozy people, with work.
On our 5 acres of land we enjoy our sheep, three dogs and our hangover.
We hope to meet you here soon to give you an unforgettable stay!
