Where you’ll be

Tbilisi, Georgia

Sololaki - is a charming historic district of old Tbilisi, characterized by 19th century architecture and winding alleys. The districts of Sololaki and Mtatsminda are the genuine architectural "treasury" of Tbilisi. Their building took place in the late XIX and early XX centuries, and this time is considered the "golden age" of Tbilisi architecture. The city actively (and not without success) tried to keep up with both capitals of the empire - Petersburg and Moscow, which resulted in the appearance of a completely unique "Caucasian Art Nouveau". What is important, unlike Moscow, after a whole century, the historical districts of Tbilisi were able to preserve their homes, their atmosphere and integrity, which, from my point of view, puts old Tbilisi on a par with the most interesting historical cities in Europe.
