Amazing views from all around the Round Room in the sky. Especially over Kensal Green cemetery. It was all wooden inside and cosy as anything on a drizzly January evening. Go for sunset if you can, and check out the roof panorama. But bring your own cutlery.
The perfect retreat and base for travellers and locals alike, and fantastic responsive hosts. Would definitely come back again, thank you!
This amazing place is even better than in the photos! Such a unique stay, definitely a highlight of my trip to london. The view from the roof is lovely, the apartment is neat... the big bathtub was my favourite feature! It's a wonderful place to stay, so different and great to tell your friends about afterwards. It was also a part of london that I'd never been to before, with the lovely canal, the houseboats and some great cafes nearby. It's a nice place to wander around and portobello markets are close too.
Everywhere seemed so close except we spent so much time next door! Cocktails, tea and lunch at "Tart" and "The Dock Kitchen'. Bought some tweed at the "Market" and Henry even went to the Pub although I forget its name! Brilliant views, nice and cosy and it felt just like home. My new London base for sure.
The watertower is a great place which I would highly recommend to anyone else looking for a one of a kind place to stay in London.
The room was decorated with stunning furniture, fixings and artwork. Then there's the view. From all windows and especially the roof, the view is pretty incredible.
Local area is interesting too. Right across the road is a brilliant restaurant with a nice terrace (grt for sun as I found) and a little cocktail bar. Also ate at a nice little thai restaurant around the corner. Lots of interesting shops to check out as well if you like design products or antique furniture stores.
I'll be back!
Florence was great – she met us and showed us around the tower, mentioned a few things in the area and suggested a few places to go. The tower itself was fantastic. It was warm and cozy on a cold, snowy night in London, and it is possibly the most interesting place to stay in the city. The furniture is wonderful and unique, and the view is impossible to find in any other lodging (unless you're, say, renting the entire floor of a hotel). It was conveniently close to bus lines, a tube station, and a Sainsbury's, and it cost less than a posh hotel. I'm eternally grateful that I clicked on "other" when searching for places to stay. (After scrolling down airbnb's list of "property type" options – igloo, yurt, tipi, earth house, etc. – I couldn't help wonder what "other" could possibly be!) I'll be heartily recommending it, and looking forward to another stay in the tower next time I'm back in London; it would be the highlight of any trip.
A wonderful getaway within London, the unique accommodation and views are excellent. As per reviews below, a few little extra touches could make the rooms work better, but undoubtedly worth the stay.
A pretty unique place to stay, and just over the road from the legendary Dock Kitchen. I'd stay again.
Woow what a amazing place to stay and Tom & Florence are the best hosts you can wish. From the first day on everything went perfectly. The room and everything was very clean and the interior desgin is super stylish. The Bed is very comfortable and you sleep like on heaven. We had a breakfast on the rooftop where you have a amazing view over the city. Will never forget this special place in London and will definitly come back to the amazing water tower when i visit London again.
An unique, well presented apartment with amazing 360degree views of London. Highly recommended
