Includes breakfast by Katy, an excellent southern cook.
Sunday brunch includes quiche, fruit salad and mimosas.
If you would like other meals, $5/person/meal. We happily cater to special dietary concerns, provided we have enough notice.

We are very health-minded, and our meals reflect that, featuring Katy's healthy cheesecakes and John's fruit salad.
Katy can even be talked into fixing a picnic for a day at the coast.

When your stay with us is finished, we'll provide a care package of homemade cookies to help you while you travel.

A perfect room for one or two travelers in our Arbor Lodge home.
There's a grill and outdoor eating spaces as well.
We are environmentally friendly. We have a solar water heater, and 100% of the power we use comes from renewable sources. We encourage our guests to recycle whenever possible, and throw food scraps in the compost bin.
Our home is comfortable and clean and when you stay here you have access to the entire house. We are conveniently located to many trendy neighborhoods in Portland. Public transportation (bus lines and Portland's Max line) is a few minutes walk from the house. There are bicycle pathways all around us and, if you are driving, easy access to the freeway and within minutes of downtown Portland.

The Mississippi and Alberta Arts districts are within easy access, as are many wonderful restaurants and events. Hiking, skiing , the Oregon coast are all within 90 minutes of our home. I have lived in Portland for over 30 years , and can help you with the many recreational choices available to you. We are also very helpful with restaurants, wine country ideas, museum and shopping choices. We love Portland and would be happy to help you have the best time you can while you are here.

Please tell me a little bit about yourself when you make a reservation or inquiry - where you're coming from, purpose of your visit, your interests, etc.

Interaction with guests

Katy will interact a great deal. John is usually out playing sports (softball, volleyball, ping-pong) or cribbage, so is not around as much.
But when John is here, if you'd like to play a card game or board game, he's in!

John and Katy were both very welcoming hosts - Katy is a great cook and makes tasty baked goods and a great breakfast! The bed is very comfortable and the house is located in an area with really good transport links so you can get to downtown Portland / North Portland by bus or MAX fairly easily.

Fantastic value, service, food, and home-iness. This is like staying at your favorite aunt and uncle's place. The sheets were basically heaven! Will definitely book here again if I ever need a space.

I had a great time at Greeley manor. John and Katy treated me like family and I felt just like at home. Each morning Katy would prepare an awesome breakfast and give me recommendations for various activities. I hope I can come back one day.

John and Katy’s place was great. It’s a very old house with lots of character and the bed is super comfortable. I slept better than I do at home! I was only staying one night, but John and Katy were very accommodating and friendly. Katy is a wonderful chef and fixed me a tasty breakfast of perfect scrambled eggs, veggie sausages, orange juice, pancakes and fresh coffee. One of the best breakfasts on my trip! I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to any travelers looking for a comfy bed and yummy home cooked meal!

Super sweet family environment to stay! I was treated like one of their own, even though I was only staying for one night. I'd be happy to stay with Katy and John again.
