Location, location, location. Cannot beat this Lower East Side location. Steps to awesome restaurants and bars. A block from a convenient subway station. Comfy beds with firm mattresses. Drew was a very responsive host. Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. Drew's place is clean and fully equipped. It's centrally located and walking distance to many attractions. There are bars and restaurants and shopping close by. Check in was easy and Drew responded immediately to our texts. Looking forward to returning.

The apt is a great value for the space and neighborhood. Only issue was wifi wasn't working, but was fixed couple days into stay. However, I will not hesitate staying again. Drew is a good communicator, the apartment is very spacious and in a neighborhood I love. Thanks Drew

About Drew: we haven't seen Drew who lives far away but he has always been available by email to quickly answer our questions. He seems to be a very nice guy. The hairdryer was dirty and from another time so he told us to buy one and he would refund it. We bought a small one but my friend kept it so Drew still has to buy a new one. And a microwave also :). About location: that's a very nice location in LES, close to different subway lines (Essex/Delancey so 2 important lines, J and F) so it's easy to go downtown and uptown in 15-20 mn according to where you want to go. There are plenty of shops and restaurants. That's not the place you will stay around to discover NYC as there is nothing special to visit but that a very good base to do it. It's noisy from the apartment on the week end as there is a disco next door on the level St of course (the apartment is at the 2nd level). About the apartment: as Drew said before, the apartment has no view at all. Only walls in front of the windows. So it's a bit dark. The main point is cleanliness: it was superficial. The price for this work (made by a made I think) was really poor. An enormous work needs to me done, from ground to cellars, with cleaning of windows, curtains, fans bulbs behind furniture etc. Everything. Even the dish. Many very old things should be thrown away, broken things repaired and this would give a little modernity. There is no room with a desk (this room has been transformed in a bedroom and should be removed). There is no TV in the right bedroom either. The TV in the living room has RAKU (kind of Apple TV) which didn't work well. We haven't found live TV but were not very interested in it. So, Drew is a nice host we haven't discovered (we took and left the keys in a shop 2 blocks away) but who has probably not much time to supervise what is done in his apartment. So: nice location, nice base to discover NYC, quiet during the week, noisy the week end, big effort needed on cleanliness (everything must be done), things to throw away or to repair, modern stuff like a microwave to buy, confortable beds and sofa, very small table to eat above 2, no view as Drew said, and maybe a little expensive considering the state of the apartment. New photos to be taken to show as the apartment is now. Flexibility to leave later was possible because no-one got in after us. Otherwise, the shop where we took and left the keys at the end can keep the luggage for a reasonable amount. We would recommend it with these restrictions (price per day is reasonable but could be lowered till some work is done)...
