This is a one-of-a-kind experience. It's not just a huge dog carving, it's an atmosphere..an energy...a dream clearly realized. The owners are charming and they've lived a life with inspirational lessons....hearing them is worth the price of admission..
We played Beagle-Opoly, read many of the eccentric dog books, enjoyed the breakfast, purchased a wood carving & a mug... and even tried the cornhole--and outdoor puzzle!
Dennis and Frances-
Thank you for an amazing stay in sweet willy!! We are beyond tickled to have had the opportunity to pass through cottonwood and stay at the dog bark park! What an amazing and magical place that brings out the kid in all of us. We hope our paths cross again soon!
Frances and Dennis were beyond welcoming and accommodating. They helped point us in the right direction for fishing and hiking and made sure we were well nourished with lots of homemade pastries and granola. I would recommend the beagle (Sweet Willy) to anybody!
Thanks so much again!
Fun! It was a neat experience to spend the night in the belly of a giant dog. The hosts were very nice people, happy to chat about the area, and things to do in the vicinity. At night we stepped out of the dog and saw the Milky Way above us.
Frances was wonderful to deal with. She was very timely with communication and helped us with recommendations for where to eat and go horseback riding. Our daughter and her best friend loved staying here. The corn hole game outside was an unexpected bonus and gave us something fun to do with the girls.
The Botsko family were excellent guests & we would welcome their return visit. We strive to exceed expectations in every way while also preserving our Dog Bark Park as a unique, safe & memorable place to experience. We're all about more than a night's sleep.
The Dog Bark Park Inn was a great experience! Aside from the joy of staying in a giant beagle, the room was clean well kept and very comfortable. There were so many baked goodies, cookies, homemade granola (that was super delicious) eggs, coffee, and plenty of other treats. We were able to watch a few fireworks from the patio and enjoyed seeing the fields of wheat and canola.
The park is right off the highway, but at night there was hardly any traffic. The place is definitely a whimsical and worthwhile adventure. Frances and Dennis were friendly, available and very easy to deal with. I definitely suggest stopping by Sweet Willie for anyone who's in the area, or for any dog lover who wants a quirky and fun getaway.
The Dog Bark Park was a wonderful place to stay. Frances and Dennis were very welcoming and the the Dog Bark Park was whimsical and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay and had a great evening meal at the restaurant just down the street.
