Great location for a quiet vacation! Pros: Large condo, pool in sight-distance, room close to laundry, restaurant and pool. Mismaloya is small, went for walks through the town every few days to hit the local market. We felt very safe even though we were the whitest people around and don't speak very much Spanish! Fishing boats and paddle boards off the beach were both really fun! Ocean is calm most of the time and great to swim in. Cons: Barcelo blasts some loud music in the evenings which you can't hear from inside the condo but takes away from the beauty of the beach if you want to sit outside after dark. Cleaning is once/week, I asked a housekeeper to borrow a mop but they wouldn't let me. Simple fix if I hadn't already been to walmart! Didn't want to go again. Used a rag on the floors because they get pretty dirty when you're in and out with the kids. Didn't mind that there wasn't more cleaning but wished then that there were cleaning supplies in the room. Couch is not comfortable so we used blankets from bedrooms and bought extra pillows from walmart and that helped! All-in-all I would definitely book this place again. The beach is so beautiful and we didn't mind the taxi drive or bus into PV when we wanted to do something. Next time we will hit the local market as soon as we arrive for coffee in the morning!! Unfortunately can't travel with it and took awhile to find a good cup o' java the first morning, everyone just serves instant. Thanks for posting your "Paradise" Nora!! Just what we needed :)

Nora's place was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The grounds are lovely. Make sure you bring your own supplies if you don't want to leave as we didn't. There is a small store in the village for necessities, but if you are a coffee junkie bring your own with a Melita filter. There is a coffee machine but no filters close by. It is a perfect place for those wishing to escape a busy city life.

Beautiful view, beach is literally downstairs. You have the best view of the sunset at your poolside and the jacuzzi was unresistable. It wasn't very crowded which made the experience more peaceful. The four in my group were the youngest in the condos (21-25 years). The restaurant in the condo was better than expected, great customer service and the food was delicious. The staff was beyond friendly, always very approachable and helpful. Overall a great vacation that will have us coming back.

Nora's condo at La Jolla De Mismaloya is a great place to stay if you want an out of town (PV) experience that is relaxing and very scenic. The condo was plenty big for four adults. It is about a 40 second walk to the pool area and the front desk provides pool towel exchange service which is greatly appreciated. The front desk also sells water and ice at a very reasonable price. There is a small onsite restaurant that you should visit at least once. The menu is limited but the food and service was great. Wish they did breakfast, but the only did lunch and dinner. Pablo and his wife do a great job keeping the hungry guests happy. The pool was very refreshing. When we were there (late January, early February), the pool area was not too crowded most of the time. Nora's condo has most of the items you will need to fix light meals. Be sure to bring your own dish washing liquid if you plan to use the dishes. Also bring spices if you plan to cook. The location is about a 20 minute cab ride south of the edge of PV but it is located on a bus line that runs frequently and stops right in front of the resort. A big plus for us was the 24 hour security at the front of the property. We were four women travelling alone and the feeling of security was part of our decision to chose this condo. Overall, Nora's condo was a great place for us to rest and relax for two weeks and I recommend it highly.
