Our home is located in convenient West Knoxville in an established, quiet, safe neighborhood. Ten minutes from UT, downtown, and minutes from great shopping. One hour from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
This home is a three bedroom, 2,000 sq ft on a wooded corner lot. The bedroom has a queen sized bed with a Kingsdown mattress with 400 count sheets or better. The room has a closet and an attached bath with a tub/shower.
The guests have access to the living areas, living rooms, kitchen, laundry closet, back deck, and yard. The hall past the guest bedroom is for the homeowners only.
Interaction with guests
We will be here, but we work during the day and are busy with multiple activities. That means you have the place to yourself most of the time! Jeannie is available to help you with any questions you may have about the area. We often cook dinner in the evening, and our guests are welcome to join us or dine/cook on their own.
Other things to note
There is ample parking in the driveway.
We expect our guests to enjoy themselves. You must be comfortable with dogs. We have one small older rat terrier and one young black pit/lab mix. We do not allow smoking in the house. We can accommodate children and infants.
I am an avid learner, reader, music fan, hiker, and bicycler. I have lived in many places (three states of Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Colorado, Singapore, and Jakarta) but have settled in my favorite place in the world, East Tennessee. I love meeting new people and adding to my wide circle of friends. If I am not downtown with friends, I am usually hitting the many trails nearby or riding my bike, unless I am at Bonnaroo. I have to have my music and nature fix on a regular basis.
