You'll feel at home in our cozy, updated house located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes away from the following major highways: IH-35, IH-10, LOOP 1604, and Interstate 410.

There are 5 Wal-Marts and 3 HEB grocery stores within a 5 mile radius. There are also quite a few city parks nearby, including one with a lake within a short walking distance. This home is also kid and baby friendly! We love catering to families, and making kiddos feel just as welcome!

The space
There are 4 different city parks nearby. Some even have lakes where fishing is allowed.

The following locations: Joint Base San Antonio Fort Sam Houston and Randolph AFB, The Forum Shopping Center, Retama Park, The San Antonio International Airport, New Braunfels, and downtown San Antonio are all centrally located and easily accessible to and from this property.

Our washer and dryer are yours to use during your stay with laundry soap provided as well. All bath necessities (bath towels, wash cloths, shampoo (for babies and adults), body wash, conditioner and hair-styling tools) are available as well. We also have an iron and ironing board.

For the little ones, we have high chairs, booster seats, a folding kid's table, a Pack N Play w/changing table attachment, two portable bassinets and a stationary bassinet/crib, baby blankets, infant/child plates/cups/utensils, children’s toys, and an infant bathtub also available.

We have TVs in both the living room and the kid's room. The kid's room also has a DVD/VHS combo player, and lots of VHS tapes suitable for your little ones to watch unsupervised.

The home has central AC and heating.

We have Spectrum 200mbps internet, but no cable TV. We do provide access to local free channels via antenna, and Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Netflix apps through the Roku smart TV in the living room.

The home comes equipped with a gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, assorted cookware/utensils and dishes, coffee pot, pots and pans, and a hot water kettle. Hot tea bags/coffee and powdered creamer are provided for you as well as snacks in the pantry.

Guest access
We have a big backyard with comfortable patio furniture and a huge umbrella with LED solar lighting (activated by an on/off switch under the umbrella) for shade. A perfect setting for your morning coffee, or to wind down from a busy day.

If you have more than one vehicle in your party, you can easily park four cars on the property: two on the driveway, and two on the street.

Other things to note
In addition to AirBnB’s COVID-19 cleanliness protocol, I am also taking an extra step myself to ensure that the air circulating inside my home is also “clean”. I use an air purifier with a technology called “ActivePure” for added sterilization. This air purifier is able to clean the entire house due to its internal NASA-developed technology. The device has been FDA lab tested to kill 99.9% of airborne/surface invading viruses, bacteria and even mold! I hope that this added information about what I’m proactively doing in addition to the platform protocols gives you reassurance and comfort, as a guest, that all possible measures are being implemented at my home to your benefit!

Currently, I am only running the purifier in between reservations as I do not yet have a permanent location for it inside, but this will soon change! Check back soon on this listing (if this is the reason you are holding off on making your reservation) for an update on when the unit will be permanently installed in my home.

Neighbourhood highlights

The house is at the end of the street in a very quiet neighborhood. The neighbors are nice and keep to themselves. We are close to all major highways, so it’s easy to get anywhere. There are plenty of stores that are convenient for your shopping. Just a great location in a quiet neighborhood.
