This is an absolute gem of a place. You couldn't get closer to the sea with breath-taking views. It is so tranquil and we thought it was the most beautiful place on the island. Christine was a wonderful host and took the utmost care to make sure we had everything we needed. She made us feel so welcome - from picking us up at the airport to saying Goodbye.

Within seconds of arrival at Milos port we were swept away with Christine's personality, hosting, story telling, care and attentiveness to our needs. We were given a truly warm and pleasant welcome. She picked us up from the port and even kindly took us to our next lodgings as we hadn't hired a car yet. We didn't hire a car for the 3 nights we stayed at Christine's simply because there is enough to see and do around Mandrakia... Stunning Agean sea views, volcanic pumiced landscapes all around to explore, access to the sea within metres, private balconies to ponder the views and sky at night, super comfortable beds - loved the upstairs room with views in all directions - and even the Medousa tavern right next door - highly recommended - just made our stay perfect. A magnificently tranquil and exquisitely relaxing place to unwind and explore set in stunning Mandrakia. It was a treat to experience such an authentic and homely space - decorated to a very high spec - and a bonus that we could learn about Christine's family history of their ancestral home. All the right touches and attention to detail were great to discover as the days flew by. Thank you Christine and Yannis for an unforgettable Milos experience!

What a beautiful island and Christine's house in sleepy little Mandrakia was the perfect place to stay. We walked out of the front door straight down a staircase into the sea for snorkelling. Taverna with friendly staff and great food next door. Christine kindly picked us up from the port, helped us hire a buggy (essential to have transport on Milos) and chatted for a long time about her family and their lovely holiday home that she rents out. It's the perfect size for 2-4 people, has everything you could need including snorkels, beach towels and tuperware for the picnic! Christine made us a little present as it was our honeymoon and left us a bottle of bubbles - very kind. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends and family.

My parents and husband had a lovely time at Christine's house. It is amazing in many respects. It is traditionally built, which is nice, but also very modern inside and very clean. It is beautifully located, at the end of this small road and at the heart of this little fishing hamlet called Mandrakia, with superb views both on the port itself and on the nearby rugged coast. Christine was a wonderful host. She gave us lots of travel tips. The taverna nearby is excellent and managed by a very nice family. It is also not too noisy as there is no music. The only downsides, if any, were the proximity of said taverna, which reduces privacy somewhat (although this can be compensated by spending time on one of the terraces on the first floor of the house), and the wind, which can be very strong and complicate spending time on the terrace and makes swimming below difficult. Luckily the wind went down significantly on our last day, which almost transformed the place! Overall, we had a really great stay and would be very happy to come back.

Christine was very helpful and the house was amazing. With stunning views

Christine and her husband were great hosts. Their house is in a great location, just a shame we couldn't have stayed there longer !! We were met by Christine at the airport and followed her back to the house in the hire car, something she didn't have to do. The fridge was full of all the essentials, including fruit, bottled water, beer ... this was very useful since we didn't have time to shop after arriving. I would recommend the house to other guests and I do hope to return. Thanks Christine.

My husband and I stayed at Christine's house for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon trip to Greece. Christine was very responsive on messages and was waiting at the port when we arrived to help us rent a car and lead us to her house. The house was exactly as pictured and was very clean - it also had a lot of items we may need during our stay such as beach towels, water shoes, bottles of water, fruit and more. Overall, the stay was great - my favorite part is the upstairs bedroom because it's so bright and has a great view from all of the windows. The house is a short drive away from several notable beaches and we would often do the quick drive down to Adamas for breakfast or anything else we needed. Highly recommend!
