We spent a week at Vasilis's beautiful villa. Firstly, as others have mentioned, the pictures certainly do not do the place justice. The villa is beautiful, the attention to detail is outstanding. It is very spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable. The location is also excellent, and there are so many beautiful nature trails very close to the house - reachable by foot, and by car (I recommend the Machairas forest trails and Stavrovouni Monastery trail - both less than 30 minutes drive). It is also only a short drive to Nicosia. If you're looking for shopping and nightlife, this is not the place for you. If you enjoy experiencing a more authentic experience, nature, peace, and charming surroundings, then I highly recommend Vasilis's place.

We agree totally with the last review: "The photos of this house don't do it justice! It is extremely spacious and comfortable and it is very nice to be able to sit both inside and outside. The seating area outside even has ceiling fans to keep you cool. This house has a lot of culture and class and unlike the majority of the accommodation, it gives you a real taste of the history and culture of Cyprus. It's location meant that we could travel fairly easily to many destinations - the Kyrenian Mountains, Mount Olympus, the beach, Nicosia, just to name a few. If you're interested in getting off the beaten track, this is the place for you." I would like to add that the owner and family are very nice. We arrived at night, so they had arranged all the stuff for a breakfast. We had a very good time! Niels

Vasilis made sure that we arrived safely at his house and his father arrived shortly after with the key. He even ordered us dinner from the local restaurant before it closed! It's location meant that we could travel fairly easily to many destinations - the Kyrenian Mountains, Mount Olympus, Protaras, Nicosia, just to name a few. Vasilis even took us to local music festival in the village. If you're interested in getting off the beaten track, this is the place for you.

Vasilis made us feel very welcome during our stay. He met us the night we arrived and invited us for lunch to his parents' place. The house is absolutely wonderful with a fireplace, garden and lots of space. The village, Pera, is quiet and there's fruit and olive trees all around. This house and surroundings can be highly recommended.
