Perched right above the zocalo, this colonial hacienda has stunning views of the beautiful Santa Prisca cathedral. Historic Casa de las Palmas has the old world charm you will love when you visit the famous silver mining town of Taxco.

I highly recommend La Casa! It is a gorgeous old house with stunning views and intricate details throughout. The house is a 5-8 minute walk up from the Zocalo. To be honest, it's a steep climb but the elevation gets you out of the noisy central area and cab rides are only $24…

I was delayed with travel and didn't write a review for Kathy, but wanted to say we thoroughly enjoyed Kathy and her guests at Casa de las Palmas! Please visit again! Very pleasant people and experience. Cheers, Riki

Lovely family stay in the main house. It is a steep access to the house. We would advise against driving up to it. Better to park in an estacionamiento near the town square and walk up.

Beautiful Casa with a wonderful location and view! Super close to the center of Taxco. Check in was easy and Oscar was very helpful and showed us around the property. I'd stay again if I'm back in town.
