Located in the private apartment area of the exclusive Mantra Hotel complex and is in a prime location right in the centre of Southbank, Melbourne.
Beautifully furnished & everything you could need or want supplied, this is the perfect stepping point to the Southbank Promenade, The Arts Centre and National Gallery almost next door.
The lounge has 2 leather lounges, a bucket chair and ottoman with reading light, LCD TV, DVD, CD (with a selection of media for you to enjoy) and a dining table for 6. There are 2 small balconies with views of the sunset to the west, towards the river and parks to the east and north facing the city and the sun.
Air conditioning and heating are in all areas and the bedrooms also have ceiling fans for your all year round comfort.
All beds are fully made up with luxury linen. Master bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bath and shower, second queen bedroom with second bathroom next door and third double bed in the office/study. Double bed is full size, very comfortable and only takes 20 seconds to pull down.
Bathrooms have hairdryers and straightener with organic soaps, shampoos and conditioners together with other personal items which you may require.
Welcome drinks and snacks are provided as is first day breakfast.
Complimentary cot, cot linen and high chair if required.
There is a fully set up office desk with laptop, printer, multi charger and free WIFI - perfect for business trips - and a separate fully equipped laundry.
The kitchen has espresso/latte machine, gas cooktop, electric oven, micro, dishwasher and full size fridge/freezer. All condiments, utensils and appliances that you would expect. There is a BBQ on the west balcony.
The apartment has a secure foyer with swipe entry and intercom.
Guests have access to the pool with terrace, spa, sauna and gym. Pool towels are provided.

Other things to note
We are confident that you will find the apartment extremely comfortable, very well located and equipped for either a holiday or a business stay.
We try to keep rules to a minimum but in summary they are:
Basically we request that you treat our apartment with respects and leave it essentially as you found it - leave the beds, major cleaning, vacuuming etc.. to us.
We just ask that you put into the rubbish or take with you any food or drinks that you have brought into the apartment, double check that you have all your things and generally leave the apartment in a fair and reasonable manner.
We can also arrange for a cleaner to visit during your stay with 3 clear days notice at a minimum charge of $90. Please let us know if you require this service at least 3 clear days from your check out date.
Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the building and strictly no smoking in the apartment or on the balconies. If smoking is apparently after your departure you will be charged an extra cleaning fee appropriate to the time needed to rectify.
Sometimes things just happen and a broken glass or plate is not going to worry us and you will not be charged. This is regarded as normal wear and tear of a home.
We do however reserve the right to charge you for major damage/rectifications or excess on insurance claims.
If something more major happens during your stay please call the owner/manager immediately so that the damage can be assessed and where possible, or necessary, repaired. We will discuss with you whether an insurance claim is appropriate (for which you would be responsible for the excess which is $350) or whether you wish to pay for the matter to be rectified.
No parties or events are to be held at the property - if you have a special request for visitors, please speak to me about your needs.
No illegal drugs or illegal drug use is permitted anywhere on the property whether inside the apartment or in other areas of the building.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
Use of the pool area is at your own risk. Children are not allowed into the pool area on their own.
SWIMMING POOL/SPA/SAUNA AND GYM
These areas are to be used in a quiet and safe manner. Children are not to use these facilities without an adult with them. No glasses or food are to be taken to the pool.
EXTRA DOUBLE BED IN OFFICE/STUDY
This bed should be opened or closed by a child - it is not difficult but quite heavy. If children are using the bed it is to be locked into position with the slide locks on either side of the bed. It should then be locked again when returned to the desk position.
Cancel up to 7 days before your trip and get a 50% refund. Cancel within 7 days of your trip and the reservation is non-refundable.
I was born in Melbourne and consider it one of the most beautiful places on the planet to live. I've travelled extensively over the years and on returning to Melbourne I always consider myself very lucky to have been born here.
I have been married to my husband for 32 years and we have one adult son. My husband and I are travelling to South America later this year to celebrate my significant birthday (not telling which one - though you can probably guess from the photo) and I'm very excited about seeing places like Rio, Buenos Aires and Iguana Falls as well as cruising around Cape Horn.
My husband was born in London and consequently we get a lot of family and friends come to visit us in Melbourne. We therefore bought Our Melbourne Southbank Apartment as we wanted to have somewhere to offer them to stay - where they could bring the family - that was extremely comfortable, very well equipped and central to all that Melbourne has to offer. It certainly is all that!!
During times when it is vacant we are now offering it to others and we would love it if you came to stay.
My passions, other than family, are cooking and entertaining, reading and watching great movies and travelling. I hope the apartment demonstrates these passions with the little extras in the kitchen, the selection of movies, books, music and magazines and also my own Guest Directory which provides heaps of information on places around Melbourne that you may not otherwise find in the tourist publications. If you're only here for a short time you don't want to spend half of it trying to find the good spots - so I do that for you.
The apartment is yours to enjoy while you are here and I won't be bothering you however you should know that I am here should you need something, which is sometimes nice to know when you are away from home.
We also have a holiday Townhouse in Torquay at the start of the Great Ocean Road which we are just starting to offer to guests whilst we are not using it.
