A separate, self contained apartment with it’s own entrance. We live upstairs with our two pomeranians, who might want to visit if you give them permission ! There are views, with a tropical garden and we are close to the city, airport and shops. There is frequent public transport either bus or train. Or if you have a car there is safe on street parking. The supermarket, a health food store , small Asian supermarket and good cafes and restaurants are close by all within walking distance.

The space
A lovely, light and traditional style space with access to the back garden with views and breezes. There is a shared laundry with washing machine and dryer as well as plenty of washing lines outside.

We are very convenient to the airport and the city centre as well as a Coles supermarket which is a short walk away.

As a teacher for the last 40 years I have met some amazing people from many nations and backgrounds, from refugees to royalty, from little children to over 80's. Now, as a very recently retired person I want to continue to meet people from all over the world and Airbnb seems like an excellent way to do it. I have many interests and of course travel is at the top of the list! So many places I still want to visit. I am an avid reader, love food and cooking, a passion I share with my fisherman husband, my garden is my meditation and pride and joy. I adore animals, my pets and the great outdoors - we are so lucky here with accessible beaches, mountains, healthy environments and beautiful scenic spots abound.

During your stay

Socialising or giving you space both work for us, it’s completely up to you. Our dogs love to visit our guests but they are not offended if you shut the security door to keep them out!
