Neighbourhood highlights
the central location of the apartment allows you to fully enjoy the life of Bari.
Enter the narrow streets of the ancient village and immerse yourself in the smells and flavors of the Bari tradition. The Cathedral, St. Nicholas Basilica, Svevo Castle, and the many ancient churches are all within walking distance in a couple of minutes.
The old shops, the ladies who prepare the orecchiette on the street, the baking of focaccia, and the fishermen who "curl" the octopus are aspects of barivecchia that must necessarily be lived.
In front of the apartment begins the Murattiano quadrilateral and it is the place from which the new city developed from the 1800s onwards. Its feature is the "chessboard" shape
Here are the main shopping streets:Via Sparano with the headquarters of the most prestigious international fashion brands and with beautiful buildings (Palazzo Mincuzzi).
There is also Via Argiro full of beautiful shops and bars.
Continuing on foot, in a matter of minutes, you can reach the "Umbertino" neighborhood with the beautiful Art Nouveau buildings of the Apulian Aqueduct, the Chamber of Commerce, the Oriente hotel and the prestigious Petruzzelli Theatre.
Lastly, another gem just outside the apartment is the Teatro Margherita (built on stilts) on the sea, right there where it is easy to get lost at sunset in the charm of the sun's reflections of a waterfront that runs all over the city from north to south.
