This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
Situated beside the shores of the Cromarty Firth with spectacular views to the Black Isle our cottage sleeps six comfortably, and is ideally placed for touring, with access to superb beaches, forests, hill walking, golf, etc. The NC 500 route is minutes away.

One of the best natural harbours in Europe, the Royal Navy had a base here until 1956. Now oil rigs line up in the Firth and liners visit every week in the summer season.

Invergordon's spectacular murals are a must see!

The space
The cottage is deceptively spacious (total floor area of 129 square metres). On the ground floor there is a large lounge with archway to a large kitchen/diner, bathroom with separate shower and one family room with double and single bed.
On the first floor a shower room is situated between two roomy family bedrooms consisting of one double and one single bed.
There is also a small garden area behind the cottage.

Guest access
You will have total access to the cottage and garden for the duration of your stay. Off road parking can accommodate three cars

Neighbourhood highlights

Saltburn is a small village on the outskirts of Invergordon and is a perfect base for touring the Highlands. There are at least six 18 hole golf courses within an hour's drive, including Royal Dornoch, so perfect location for a golfing holiday!
Nearby Invergordon has stunning murals on gables all over the town and boasts a sports centre with leisure pool. A choice of restaurants and take-aways cater for most tastes.
The Black Isle, which is viewed from every room in the cottage, is really a peninsula and is well worth a visit with lots of quaint villages. Cromarty, an old fishing village (a round car trip of approximately an hour) has lots of history and you might be lucky enough to spot some dolphins. You can also book a dolphin tour from the harbour.
Both Portmahomock and Dornoch have superb beaches.

I have lived in Invergordon all my life and been involved with some community projects. When my husband and I retired we moved to the seaside village of Saltburn. We live just along the road from the holiday cottage so are on call for any information about the area
