You will be staying in our lovely light and airy annexe with fridge should you want to go fishing or buy provisions and an Everhot cooker (electric version of Aga) in the seating area downstairs. The double bedroom and shower room with loo and basin/dressing room are upstairs. We also have a charming seating area at the rear of the property where you will be able to sit out and enjoy your breakfast, before you start to explore the town and its environs.

The space
Our house is situated on Florence Terrace, which is one of the historic terraces occupying so much of this part of Falmouth within easy reach of the town. We are in close proximity to the historic Falmouth School of Art on Woodlane Terrace.
We are 15 minutes' walk from Gyllyngvase beach & its vibrant cafe, 20 minutes from Swanpool & ' Hooked on the Rocks ', 10 minutes from Events square with the National Maritime Museum and several restaurants and cafes including Rick Stein's, The Shed and The Shack & other restaurants, 30 minutes' walk from Pendennis castle with its amazing views, 15 minutes to the town pier and also Customs House Quay from which there are trips to Trelissick, the Helford River and also the delightful and gentle St Mawes, where again there is a good selection of cafes and restaurants including the Tresanton Hotel with its beach club and lunch on their beautiful terrace, The Rising Sun pub and several individual shops as well as the beautiful Summer's beach. The Annexe is also fortunate to be within a minute's walk of the bohemian and sociable Provedore cafe with a distinct southern European atmosphere, a hidden gem away from Falmouth's main street but seating is non-bookable and one needs to arrive soon after 6.15 to ensure a seat.

The Helford river and the beautiful surrounding countryside and beaches is approximately a fifteen minute drive from us and one can take a boat over from Helford Passage to Helford village and explore a peaceful and very picturesque area of Cornwall.

Guest access
The Annexe is accessed from the service lane to the rear of our house. There is a secure gated access to which you will have a key to come and go as you please. A path leads down to the property with six granite steps down to the door of the Annexe. You are very welcome to enjoy the patio garden on which there is seating and a small table. The washing machine and tumble dryer are situated in the garage to which you will also have access to park. The Annexe has gas central heating should this prove necessary.

Other things to note
We will provide you with, milk, sugar, tea & coffee, croissants, butter, cooking oil, jam& marmalade, wine (local when possible) as staples. Because of Covid we sadly have had to suspend this service. The staircase to the upstairs is somewhat steep. There is no television.

During your stay
We both know Cornwall very well, and would be more than happy to help with where to visit. There are some stunning places that are often missed by those that come to the county.
